We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Oscar Julian Fernandes, on April 18th 2024 at the age of 93.

Loving and devoted husband of 65 years to his wife Benita (Benny).

Loving and wonderful father to his son Marlon (predeceased) and his daughter Roxanne. Best Papa in the world to his grandchildren Danny, Aaron and Cassandra. Loving Great Papa to his great-grandchildren Felix and Jax.

He is loved with all our hearts and will be missed so much by us all. He is loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

He is loved and will be missed by his brother in-law and sister in-laws.

My dad was a man who did not judge anyone. He loved unconditionally and he was loved by all who ever crossed paths with him.

He gave to others with his whole heart, without expecting anything in return. He was a man filled with love to give to others who needed it or wanted it. He will be so tremendously missed. We love you!

Visitation will take place at the MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby L1N 3K4 on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 1:30 p.m. until time of Service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. A Reception will follow in the Arbor Lounge.

If desired, memorial donations to a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
