Sadly, after a short battle with illness, our family announces the passing of Ralph Ronald Beer (Beersy) in his 90th year on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital.

He leaves behind his complete family and the love of his long life, Helen (Sauve) Beer.

We remember his passion and commitment to the grocery and food chains of Loblaws and E.D Smith.

We honour his love for and commitment to the community, his neighbours, and hockey, through playing, coaching, and scouting (MTHL, OHL). His family, friends and neighbours will deeply miss him.

Survived by: Wife: Helen Doreen (Sauve) Beer, his wife of 71 years, and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Daughter: Laura (Beer) Baker (Stephen Baker)

Grandchildren: Stephanie (Baker) Massey (Lee Massey)

Great grandchildren (Madeline, Owen) Jeffrey Baker (Abbey Morgan)

Great grandchild (Benjamin) Lindsay (Baker) Lesage (Blair Lesage)

Great grandchildren (Quinne, Henry). Son: Ron Beer (Emmie Stewart).

Son: Rick Beer (Gail Gormley).

Grandchildren: Corey Beer (Madi Bosgraaf).

Great Grandchild (Ellie), Tyler Beer.

Daughter: Leah Anne Beer (Darcey Gray).

Dog: Macy.
