It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Richard “Rick” Wayne Schroeder on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in his 44th year.

Survived by his children Mara and Eden Schroeder and their mother Lauren Reeves.

Loving son of Janice (Rene) LeBlanc and David (Beatrice) Schroeder and son-in-law of Marg Reeves and the late Glenn Reeves.

Cherished brother of James Schroeder and Alanna (Tom) Muzik and brother-in-law of Sean (Sonya) and Christopher Reeves.

Dear nephew of David (Debbie) Bracken, Larry (Susan) Bracken, Bonnie (Tom) Rowinski, Ted (Janet) Bracken and Sandy (Brian) Spence.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Hugh and Loreen Bracken and Oliver and Alice Bested. Rick will be sadly missed by his many cousins, extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road in Whitby, ON, at 11:00a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
