With tremendous grief, we mourn the loss of our beloved Scotty Beach, Scott Robert Partington, taken from us too soon in the summer of his life at the age of 35.
Scott passed away tragically on January 7th, 2024 in Toronto.
Scotty was a devoted father to Malakai and Akayah, soulmate to Janelle, adored son of Robert (Veronica) and Mary (John), dear brother to Lesley (Dana) and Katie (Victor), and loving uncle to Eli, Ivy, Scarlett, Miguel, Reyna and Rafael. Scott was a cherished grandson, nephew, son-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend.
He was born at Scarborough Grace Hospital on September 9th, 1988 and lived in Ballantrae before moving to Port Perry in 1992. He was a natural athlete, and played soccer, basketball, and most notably, hockey.
He moved to Toronto in 2007 to attend Seneca College, but decided instead to pursue a career as an elevator mechanic, just as his father before him. He later went on to have two children.
Scott lived in Oshawa at the time of his passing.
Scott was deeply devoted to his family and friends. He was fiercely loyal, incredibly charming, and loved with a depth that is difficult to put into words. He was adored wherever he went, from the time he was a toddler into adulthood. His sense of humour, loving demeanour and hilarious quips will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
We invite family and friends to join us for a service and Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Visitation will take place from 11:00am-1:00pm, followed by a service in the chapel and reception at Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry.
In memory of Scott, please consider a donation to CAMH - Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
