Agard was the only daughter of Ralph Agard (Deceased) and Marina Toussaint Agard.
Elder sister of Sheldon Agard.
She was born on September 18th, 1975 in Manitoba on an Indian reservation where father and mother worked as educators until they moved and settled in Toronto while Stacey was a toddler.
She had her formal education in Toronto; first from elementary/middle school at Bishop Scalabrini Catholic School then to St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic High School.
Thereafter, she attended the University of Windsor. Approximately 15 years ago, Stacey was Diagnosed with Lymph/angio/leiomyo/matosis (LAM) “a rare lung disease that affects mostly women of childbearing age (the years between puberty and menopause when it is possible to become pregnant).
In people who have LAM, abnormal muscle-like cells begin to grow out of control in the lungs and other parts of the body. While battling her condition she kept busy doing things which she loved, including making a cameo appearance in Netflix miniseries “Self Made”. Stacey was a dear daughter, sister, niece of Janice, Allyson, Emrol and Everol Bruce and Rawle and CarolAnn Agard, cousin of Traci Bruce, Adrienne Ayers, Jamil Agard, Aleshia Toussaint and many others.
Friend of Naiomi, Kiley and many others. She will be sorely missed by all. May she continue to soar with the angels.
Arrangements with Mount Lawn Funeral Homew.
Rest In Peace Stacey.
