Past owner of Lake Scugog Lumber, and proud member of the Scugog community, Ted passed away peacefully at West Shore Village in Port Perry on Friday November 24th, 2023 at age 94.
Beloved husband of Jean Griffen.
Dad to Debbie Jones and her husband Bryce, Paul and his wife Laural, and Ian and his wife Susan. Grandfather of Andrew,
Adam and Ashlea Jones, Janet and Hillary Griffen, and Jon, Brandon, and Sam Griffen, and great grandfather of six. Brother of Marilyn (late Doug), and the late Rev. Jack Griffen (Barbara).
Ted will be missed by many relatives, friends, and members of the community.
The Family of Ted Griffen will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry, on Friday, December 1st, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held at the Port Perry United Church, 294 Queen Street in Port Perry on Saturday December 2nd, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
Donations to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation, or the Port Perry United Church would be appreciated by the family.
