Peacefully, in her sleep, on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Bon Air Long Term Care in Cannington, at age 72.

Teresa (nee Moriarty), beloved wife of Michael Balmforth.

Loving mother of Michael Moriarty (Meryl Zavitz) and Monique Balmforth.

Dear sister of William Moriarty (Sharon), Mary Moriarty, Anne Byogtt (John), and sister-in-law of Jenny Moriarty.

Predeceased by her brother Edward Moriarty.

Teresa will be missed by her very special friends Andrea Fairweather, and Brent Purvis, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Teresa was very active in many school events while her children were growing up, often helping with hot dog, and pizza days, field trips, and baking cakes.

A Service to Celebrate her life will be held at the Wagg Funeral Home, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry, on Friday, May 19th at 11 a.m.
