(July 13, 1930 - December 25, 2019)Born in Leeuwarden, Holland, on July 13, 1930.Passed away peacefully in Oshawa on December 25, 2019, in her 90th year.Beloved wife of the late Walter, who she met during the war in Holland while she was very young. One year after they met, they moved to Canada and were married. They spent 43 wonderful loving years together.Loving mother of Sandra Saychuk and the late Maryanne Francek.Cherished Nanna of Lisa, Andrea, Tara, Jessica, and Nathan, as well as great Nanna of Noel.Dora will also be greatly missed and loved by her extended family and friends.Friends may call at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, Oshawa (905) 433-4711, for a Celebration of Life on Saturday January 4, 2020 from 12pm – 2pm.Interment of cremated remains to follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby.Memorial donations are appreciated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
