It is great sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother Tina on January 14, 2017 in her 87th year.Born October 13, 1930 in Ragusa, Ibla, Sicily.Beloved wife of the late Ross Nasello.Loving mother of Jenny (Michel), George (Jo- Anne), Robert (Kim) and John.A cherished grandmother to Matthew (Angela), Brian (Angela), Conor (Matthew), Rachelle (Stephen) Brett and Kristi-Lynn and great-grandmother to Ethan, Adrian, Rachel, Isabella, Owen and Lennon.Tina will be sadly missed by her sisters Pina, Sarina and Cece (Dino), predeceased by her sister Maria, will missed by her brothers-in-law Emmanuel and Joseph (Lena). Tina will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews both here and in Ragusa, Italy.Family and friends will be received at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, Thornhill, on Wednesday, January 18th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held in the chapel, on Thursday, January 19th at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow.The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital over the last few days for their exceptional support.If desired, donations can be made in Tina's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
