She married Romel Martinez and together they had 3 children.

She graduated from IUTMAR Fundation la Salle Venezuela, with a degree in Business Administration and worked in Caracas for several years.

She later separated and remarried David Cowie prior to immigrating to Canada in 1997.

Upon arriving in Canada, Trina practiced tirelessly to learn English and eventually landed a position in sales, where she achieved many awards and accolades throughout her career.

Trina was known for her love of life and was loved by many for her free spirit and outgoing personality.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, and was an avid viewer of the news keeping up with politics and current issues, going on throughout the world.

Trina will be remembered for her kindness, volunteering with the elderly and abused youth, and her unconditional love for her friends and family.
