Entered into rest after a brief battle with cancer at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket. Valerie was in her 51st year.The beloved mother of Michelle, Alexandra and Nicholas.Survived by husband Gus Sertage.Loving daughter of Lawrence and Grace Medd (nee Rusnell) of Sunderland.Dear sister of Terry (Sarah) Medd of Beaverton. Valerie will be fondly remembered by her nieces Samantha and Jennifer, and held dear in the hearts of many relatives and friends.A Memorial Service will be held from St. Andrew's United Church, 10 Church St. N. in Sunderland on Monday, June 1st at 2:00 pm. Visiting in the Church from 1:00 pm until service time.As a remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Sunderland United Church or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
