It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of Lois McGinn. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at MacKenzie Health Centre, in her 78th year.Lois, the loving wife and soulmate of Hugh for over 54 years and cherished Mom of Nancy (Andre), Michael and Mark (Jill).Beloved Grandma to Charlotte, Jeremy, Zachary and Riley and dear sister of Betty, Russell (Shirley), Gordon (Judy) and Ruthann (Ron).Lois was active in her community as a member of the Foxbridge Golf Club, the Uxbridge Curling Club and at the Lemonville United Church which she attended with Hugh.She always gladly volunteered her time supporting various charities. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Redstone and the staff at MacKenzie Health Centre for their exceptional care and support.Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7th at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9p.m.Funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 8th at Trinity United Church, 20 First Ave., Uxbridge at 1p.m. with visitation from one hour prior.
