Passed away at Soldiers Memorial Hospital Orillia, on February 9, 2022.

Predeceased by her husband Floyd Purvis.

Cherished mother of Barbara (Don) Reid, Linda (Ron) Josephson and Beth (Terry) Josephson.

Loving nana of 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Verna will be remembered by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Beacan Presbyterian Church, 413 Simcoe St. Beaverton, on Wednesday February 16, from 1pm-2p.m. Registration is required to attend the visitation by contacting Mangan funeral home, between the hours of 10am-4pm (Mon-Fri). A private family service will follow. Interment at Cedarvale Cemetery Cannington.
