It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Carlisle Hall, in his 76th year, on January 30, 2017 at Bowmanville Hospital.Victor will be remembered by his children Lisa Moody (Don), Allan Hall, and Scott Hall (Kathryn), his brother Dan Hall (Ethel), grand children Justin Fyfe, Ashley Kingz, Robert and Hannah Hall, cousin Elizabeth (Stewart), and great grandchildren Emma and Abel Kingz.Born in Bowmanville Hospital on May 15, 1941, dad continued a longstanding tradition of the Hall family by residing in Orono.A graduate of Kemptville College, Victor started his career at Bennett Paving but soon was hired onto the Ministry of Transportation where he drove all of the vehicles with a safe driving record that exceeded 30 plus years.After his career at MTO was over, Victor continued his driving career by driving a school bus for Phoenix and First Student. He was a proud father who very much enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play their various sports and activities. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Fosterbrooke for their continued care and compassion over the years.A memorial gathering will take place at Newcastle Funeral Home, Newcastle, on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 6pm to 9pm with sharing of memories at 8pm.
