Plant Security Department)Dad went home to Mom's loving arms this morning.He lived at Hillsdale Estates for the last six years.Victor was born in Oshawa April 29, 1919 and died December 30, 2014 at the age of 95.He married our mom Margaret Alice (nee Shaw) in 1938. They had two sons, Gary (Lois) and Bruce. His mother and father Mary and Andrew Lokiec came from Poland.Victor had three brothers Fred, Jake, Stanley and a loving sister Carm Moni all deceased. His grandchildren are David, Steven, Lisa, Julie and Christina, along with Ben, Jackie, Joey, Jonathan and Owen his great grandchildren.The family would like to thank the wonderful staff on Primrose Path for their kindness and also Dr. McIntosh who kept Dad in pretty good health for all these years even though he had advanced Alzheimer Disease.Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 10 am until the time on the Service in the chapel at 11 am.
