Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Oshawa on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the age of 100. He is survived by his beloved wife Vera of 74 years. Loving father of Edward and his wife Sharon. Proud grandfather of Glenn, David and his wife Mandy and Jennifer and her husband Steve. Cherished great-grandfather to Skyler, Tanner and Ethan. Predeceased by his sisters Margaret Foxall and Etta Woollings. Victor will be greatly missed by family, extended family and friends. We all will miss hearing his wonderful stories of working in the lumber camps, drilling rock with a 5-lb. sledge, running a Supertest Service station, his days at Robertson Motors and the many, many other adventures he experienced during his long life. His spirit, work ethic and sense of humour were truly inspirational. A special thank you to the staff at Extendicare for their loving and compassionate care. The family will be holding a private service.
