November 30, 1921 - August 22, 2016It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Violette Gadoury (née Forget) on August 22nd, 2016 at 94 years of age.Daughter of late Thomas Forget and Exerine Forget (née Gauthier).Beloved wife of late Roland andmother of son Robert (wife Helena) and daughters Gisele (husband John) and Denise. Loving grandmother of Stefan, Christopher, Christine (husband Stephane), Ryan, Jason and Megan (husband Sean) and great-grandmother of Charlize and Félix.Survived by her sisterNoëlla (late Aimé),her brother Guy (Irma) and familymembers Gilberte, Rollande, Rita, Rose-Hélène, Isabelle and Ada.Predeceased by her brothers Gerald (wife Lucy), Roland (wife Mirelle), Marcel, Walter, Henry and Jimmy, her sister Simone (husband Marcel) and family members Roger, Raymond (wife Irène), René (wife Marguerite), Donald, Réjeanne (husband Denis), Armand, Florian and Lewis. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.Violette’s family wish to thank the staff of Hillsdale Terraces for their loving care and compassion.A mass will be held at Paroisse Assomption de Notre Dame at 384 Hillside in Oshawa on Friday, August 26th at 10 a.m., with reception to follow at the church.
