(April 17th, 1943 - September 30th, 2014)It is with great sadness that the Wiedow/Voss family announces the passing of a wonderful, caring, family man, after a brief illness.Ben was born in Hamburg, Germany and is survived by his wife, Veronica, his sons Michael and Stephan and their wives, Heather and Jarene. He was a loving and doting grandfather to James, Jacob, Noah and Luke.He was also a dear step-father to Samantha and Anthony (Veronica's children).  Ben will be missed dearly by his brothers, Rolf, Horst, Klaus and Veronica's extended family.Ben's untimely passing was a great shock to all who knew him: business associates, tennis partners, neighbours, friends and of course, his family.The funeral will be held at King Street Church, 611 King St. West in Oshawa at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 7th.Visitations will be held on Monday, October 6th, from 2pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, located at 847 King Street West in Oshawa.
