Passed away peacefully at Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care on Sunday July 05, 2020 at the age of 92.Predeceased in 2011 by his loving wife of 60 years,Beverley Leslie (nee Jay). Much loved father of Lynn (Frank), Steven (Linda) and Kirsten (Joe).Proud Grandpa of Ryan, Jon, Larissa, Cole and Mikayla and Great Grandpa to Colton and Amira. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Gerry (Fred). Dear Uncle of Brenda (Dave), Michael and Grant (predeceased). Walter will be greatly missed by his extended family and many friends. Arrangements with McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax. Walter will be laid to rest privately in St. John's Norway Cemetery at a later date.If desired memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army.
