Passed away peacefully at Uxbridge Hospital on October 10th, 2023, in his 85th year.

Predeceased by the love of his life, wife Lorraine.

Loving father of Michael (Jennifer), Tony (Tracey), Cindy (Bruce), Brad (Jen) and Franzis (Allan).

Cherished Poppa of John (Britney), Suzie (Nick), Taylor (Jake), Lindsay (Dave), Trevor (Brittany), Cassandra (Dan), Jackie (Jason), Sarah (Kalin), Brayden and Brenna (Todd). Great Poppa to Karter, Lauren, Jillian, Finlay, Rylan, Hunter, Jaelynn, Jerzee, Isabella, Sophia, Matteo, Graesyn, Bronx and Liam.

Loving brother to Yvonne (Bob), Grant, predeceased by Carol (Earl), and Keith (Marion).

Predeceased by his parents Wallace and Mary Barton. Bill will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill loved the Uxbridge community. Born in Scott Township, he believed in giving back to his community. He volunteered for many years with Uxbridge minor hockey, Uxbridge Bruins, Black Hawks as well as drove the bus for the Uxbridge Legion Pipe Band.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at the Uxbridge Legion, 109 Franklin Street, Uxbridge on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 1:00pm.
