Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday July 5th, 2023, at the age of 68 years.

Dearly beloved husband of Nancy (nee Ferris).

Loving step father of Kathleen Tilly - Ellis (Mark), Douglas Tilly and Kirk Platten (Tracy).

Cherished grandfather of Brandon (Sam), Michael (Shannon), Lauren (Danny), Jeffrey (Nicole), Tiffany (Sean), Gavin, Alexcia, Kris, and great grandfather of Jack, and Hanna. Dear son of the late James and Viola O'Brien.

Will be missed by his twelve step friends. William will be remembered for his infectious laugh and kind nature.

Visitation will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPE 1587 Highway 2, on Monday July 24th, 2023 from 9:30 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 10:30 am. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, Peterborough.
