Passed away peacefully on Friday January 4, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in the Supportive Care Unit, just shy of her 88th birthday.Predeceased by her loving husband of 67+ years, Doug Peard, in March 2018.Cherished mom of Sandy (Ron) Hodder, David (Helen) Peard and Sharon Peard (Amanda Schumacher). Adored Nana of Jennifer (Richard) Szymanski, Kathryn (Mark) Edwards, Adam (Crystal) Peard and Jason (Cheri) Peard. Proud Great Gramma of Leah and Averie Szymanski, Natalia and Easton Peard and Lyla Edwards. Yvonne will be missed and fondly remembered by her nieces and nephew and her many friends including those at the Village of the Pines and Chartwell Pickering City Centre.The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, on Tuesday January 8, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
