(October 19, 1924 - April 20, 2016) -In his 92nd year, passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016. Devoted husband of the late Magdalena Kohary. Deeply missed by his daughters Evelyn Bowman (Peter) and Melinda Jejna (Robert). Forever cherished by his grandchildren Marsha Jejna (Nick), Adam Bowman (Nikki) and David Jejna. Beloved great grandfather to Gabriel, Anya, Scarlett and Hudson. Known as “Apu” to all his family, Zoltan was a Master Craftsman by trade, and handyman in his neighbourhood. Zoli was the epitome of dapper as he escorted his wife (also dressed to the 9s) to church on Sundays. All who knew him will especially miss those sparking blue eyes. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, April 25th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, (690 King Street East, Oshawa) on Tuesday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
