McLean's, Elliott's, and New Connexion Methodist are all names used for a small rural cemetery. The earliest burial date to be found is January 1861. Some monuments and graves were moved to Orono Cemetery when it opened in 1880.
Directions to Cemetery
South part of Lot 9, Concession 8 of the former Clarke Township. Drive north from Highway 401 on Highway 35/115. Exit at Durham Road 9 Kirby. Drive east on Road 9 to the village of Kendal. Turn north on Thompson Road. Drive north one concession. Thompson road ends at Concession 8 (The Dell Road) and the cemetery is on the north side of the intersection.
