It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful, beloved mother, Cheryl Sullivan (nee Murphy), at the age of 78 at the Ajax Pickering Hospital on May 11, 2024.

She went peacefully in the late hours of the evening, with family close by.

Cheryl will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Martin, her daughters Laura (Simon), Karoline, and Kimberley (Glen), her seven grandchildren Simone (Lorenzo), Jayden, Mason, Dylan, Matthew, Andrew and Aaron, and her great grandson Kieran.

Cheryl was born at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, the second of four children to Joseph and Vivienne Murphy (nee Phinnemore).

Cheryl was a very passionate and dedicated teacher throughout her career whose inspired and imaginative teaching approach was known to impact multitudes of students throughout the years. She met Martin, the love of her life, at a Christmas function on Boxing Day 1969 and married a year later on Christmas Eve.

They spent their lives committed to raising their family and building their homes in Pickering and Barry's Bay. Cheryl spent her recent years boasting about her "girls" and "boys". She invested in her dear friendships which brought her so much fulfillment, including those with her siblings, Terry (Shirley) and Pat (Don).

Her sharp wit never failed to provide a sense of sureness and vision, while her warmth and ability to connect made you feel heard and supported, no matter who you were. She loved the arts, in particular music, film, theatre, history and politics.

She was an avid news watcher and reader and held many steadfast opinions on any given subject. She was also extremely creative, loved to decorate, sew, accomplish different kinds of needlework, play the piano and cook with the best of them.

Cheryl loved the water and was an amazing swimmer, especially at Lake Kamaniskeg where she and Martin built our family paradise from the ground up.

Our mom will be so very missed, but she will continue to live on, in memory and spirit, through all whom she loved so dearly.

In lieu of flowers, you may wish to make a donation in memory of Cheryl Sullivan to lung research at the UHN Foundation (Other-Lung Research) https://uhnfoundation.ca/programs/lung/.

Candace “Tracie” (Galt) Bronishewski

JANUARY 20, 1963 – APRIL 30, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tracie Bronishewski (nee Galt) - an extraordinary mother, grandma, wife and sister - who left us suddenly on April 30th, 2023 at the age of 61.

Tracie grew up in Oshawa where she would meet the love of her life, Tom, and where they would eventually plant roots and start their own family.

She really enjoyed a good night of Bingo, spending time with her sisters, time with friends and time spent on the beach.

Tracie had a long career working in the automotive field; however, she considered her family her biggest accomplishment.

Her son, Ryan (Kate), and daughter, Emily (Ryan), were her pride and joy - only to be later rivalled by her grandbabies.

She treasured every minute she spent with Ella, Beau, Memphis, Case, Kenzie and Kadince – be it her trips down East or out West, nightly FaceTime calls, or text messages. She was so proud of them, and her friends and family will be privileged to continue to tell them about their funny, loving grandma for years to come.

Besides her children and grandchildren, Tracie was survived by sisters Donna (Bob) Beaton, Sandy (Dave) Bennet, Linda (Dennis) Shawngraw, Debbie (Chris) Cuoco, Sylvia (Ric) Yde, Tim (Lisa) and Darcie (Dennis) Czop, as well as countless friends that became family.

She was predeceased in death by her loving husband Tom Bronishewski, her mother Candace Galt and her forever fury companion Maggie. Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound to all who loved her.

The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and a celebration of life will be held during the Summer of 2024 in honour of our mom, gramma and sister.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Carter Joseph Tindale, on April 28th, 2024, in his hometown of Bowmanville, Ontario.

Carter was the beloved son of Dwayne and Danielle, and adored brother to Summer.

He will also be deeply missed by his grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends that survive him. Carter was the truest sports fan, a lover of the New England Patriots.

He astounded those close to him with his knowledge and insight of the game of football. He passionately watched and studied not only football but basketball, baseball, and hockey.

Carter was also a beacon of humour and silliness, never failing to make those around him erupt in laughter.

Even a brief encounter with strangers on the street would have them leaving with an impression of Carters polite kindness. Carter had his own battles, but he loved so deeply and passionately.

Despite obstacles that troubled him, he arose each day with determination to live free and enjoy life.

His memory and his spirit will live on each day in the hearts of those he knew and loved.
