Theresa Ann (Tess) Ameloot

Theresa Ann (Tess) Ameloot

Listed in

Peacefully, at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024.

Theresa Ann (Tess), in her 67th year.

Beloved daughter of the late Michael and the late Mary Ann Ameloot.

Loving big sister of Rick (Mary Anne) of Barrie and the late Randy (Kathy) of Oshawa.

Dear Aunt of Crystal, Kayla and Jennifer.

Tess had a passion for animals of all kinds which she developed in her youth while caring for her horse Topsy.

Her two longtime canine companions gave her great joy. Even reptiles and birds were welcome in her home!

She was always the smartest of all of her siblings; all you had to do was ask and she would tell you! Tess had many battles throughout her life which she triumphed over without ever complaining or giving up hope.

She saw the good in everyone and, like our Mother, always rooted for the underdog.

Tess is now at peace, fishing at her long dreamt of “cabin” somewhere in the wilderness.

Donations in memory of Tess to a favourite charity would be appreciated.

Private interment to follow at a later date at Oshawa Union Cemetery.
