It is with heavy hearts that the family of Maureen (Edna) Baglole announce her passing, in her home, on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in her 82nd year.

Daughter of the late Rita and Patrick McMullin of Cape Breton, N.S.

Beloved wife of 60 years to Tom Baglole. Mother to Lisa (Rick) Geisberger, Lori (Garry) Popadyn & Lynn (Peter) Shaw.

Loving Nana to Megan Geisberger, Amy Geisberger (Steve Barlow), Becca Geisberger (Kris Higgs) & Connor Shaw (Kaitlin Gay) and great nana to Adeline Barlow.

She will be missed by her older sister Sylvia, (really younger) and chosen sister Glenda & dear friend Vivian, as well as her knitter natters ladies Joy & Fay and her Saturday breakfast group.

We will miss our family walks, our Kings in the corner, euchre & Tock games. She will forever be remembered for how she loved her family.

Family day was every Sunday, as we often gathered for dinners.

A private family viewing will be held for immediate family. A celebration of Edna’s life will be announced at a later date.

The family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her nurse Lyn and to the caring and compassionate PSWs and staff of Lakeridge Health Cancer Care Centre.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Maureen’s memory to the VHA Home Health Care or Lakeridge Health cancer care centre.
