Linda Ruby East (Allen) of Courtice passed away on Monday November 21, 2022.

Linda died peacefully at home with her daughter at her side.

A special thank you to the staff at Bowmanville Hospital for their wonderful care and support.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gordon and by her siblings Judy, Billy and Susan.

She was a loving wife and mother and is survived by her siblings; Patrick (Bonnie), Robert (Corrine) and Janet as well as her children Stephanie Paterson and Stacey (Steve) Schut; Adored “Nana” to grandchildren Robert (Shotton), Ryan (Paterson), Connor (Paterson) and Jaxson (Schut)

A service to celebrate Linda will be held on Friday December 2, 2022, beginning at 11am. The service will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home at 28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax. All are invited to attend. A reception will be held onsite immediately following the service.

People wishing to honor Linda can make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
