Passed away peacefully and quickly with her family by her side on Sunday July 9th, 2023, at the age of 83.
Flory had recently moved to Canada from India to be with her daughter and family.
Predeceased by her husband C.G. Philip, She leaves behind her son George Philip (and his spouse Julie George) grandchildren Joshua & Jerusha of Australia and her daughter Susan Antoney (and her spouse Antoney Vattavayalil).
Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren George (Abey) his spouse Regeena George & Phil Antoney. Flory will be sadly missed by her brother Sam, sister Rachel and by their family and friends in India.
Flory was a vibrant person who loved her family and her cultural traditions. She will be remembered for her Devotion to her Faith, Prayers, Cooking, Baking her famous sweets, singing traditional devotional songs and her love of nature.
Friends are welcome to join with the family at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME , 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Saturday July 15th from 7pm to 9pm for visitation in the chapel with Parish Prayers at 7:30pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Syro-Malabar Catholic Church 15 Harmony Road North, Oshawa on Monday July 17th at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Flora Walker.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Flora immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her husband Davie (deceased).
Together they raised eight children David (deceased), Alan, Margaret, James, June, Susan, Graham and Flora (deceased).
After retiring Flora spent her time travelling with her husband and doing Scottish dancing, crafting and painting.
She will be missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hope Street Terrace for their excellent care.
Special thanks to Annie, her "wee lassie".
No service will be held at this time but interment and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Passed away peacefully at Reachview Long Term Care on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 with her sister Barbara (Andy) and niece Jennifer (Daryl) by her side.
Freda will be missed by her brother-in-law George Kerek, sister-in-law Ivy Appleton and her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is predeceased by her sisters Shirley (Ernie) and Margie and her brother Eddie.
Freda was an active member of the A-Team for many years.
She received supports from the SIL team prior to moving to Reachview where she spent the last few years of her life.
Freda also attended the Uxbridge Community Supports program for several years and saw that program through a lot of growth and many changes.
Freda loved to flirt with all the good looking men in her life, had a great sense of humour, and was always very honest; you never had to wonder where you stood with Freda because she would straight up tell you.
Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11a.m. with a service to follow at 12p.m. Freda will be laid to rest at the Sandford Cemetery.

He will also be missed by his brothers-in-law Bill Ormson (Colleen) and Wayne Ormson (Tammie) and their families.
Frank loved to travel, play golf, curl, and spend family time at the cottage.
He will be remembered for his sharp wit, his love of music and sports, and being a gentle soul.
He overcame so many odds these last several years and the family is grateful for the excellent care he received.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mill Run Golf Course, 269 Durham Regional Road 8, Uxbridge on Wednesday, June 28 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm (Hawaiian shirts optional).

Grant passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 78th year.
Grant is predeceased by his wife, Beth, who passed away in 2000.
He was a devoted father to Grant Jr., and Melissa (Phillipe).
Cherished Papa to Gavin and Isobel, and a big brother to Mella and James.
He was a dear, and long-time friend to Shireen as well as her father, Abdul, her children Andrea, Richard, and Alyssa. He was adored by her granddaughters Naina, Soraya, and Ayanna.

Passed away on May 22, 2023 at Victoria Manor in Lindsay at the age of 91 years.
Frances was predeceased by her husband Andre and her brother Allan Snetsinger.
Fondly remembered by her children Ross Blaettler (predeased by Lori), Susan Kortnauer (Ken), Doris Blaettler (Tom) and Allan Blaettler (Sandra).
Loved by grandchildren Jacob (Tenessa), Jessica (Kenneth), Dane (fiancé), Colin (Whitney), Travis (Ashley), Kristyn (Marshall) and Emily (Charlie).
Great grandmother to Peyton, Raiden, Mackenzie, Harlaquin-Lynn, Araya, Logan, Austin, Kyra, Kyla and Madilyn.
Fran loved and gave unconditionally to all her friends and family.
She had a great love for animals too. But when Fran got upset or disagreed you would often hear the unforgettable line … “and another cow flew by”.
Visitation to take place on Monday, May 29th, 2023 at 9:30 am at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 101 Winchester Rd. E., Brooklin, ON L1M 1B5, followed by a service at 10:30 am at the church. Interment at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
