Passed away peacefully at Hospice Huronia in Penetang, Ont. on Wednesday April 24, 2024 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Shirley Bronte.
Will be sadly missed by daughter Darlene Fountain (Bill), son Paul Bickell ( Tammy), stepson Gary ( Lynn), stepdaughter Suzanne.
Will be remembered by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Survived by siblings Ruth, Grace, Elva, Audrey, Katherine, Helen and Don and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Katie Bickell and by siblings Alma, Jack and Joe.
Special thanks to Hospice Huronia for the compassionate care provided to Dad in his final days.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 2nd from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Beaverton Legion, 517 Mara Road, Beaverton, Ontario.

MARCH 20, 1932 – APRIL 22, 2024
In the early hours of April 22, 2024, Gwen was reunited with her beloved husband and love of her life, Jack.
She will be remembered and missed greatly by her daughters, Debbie (Dave), Joan (Alan), and Lynda (John), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Mike (Amanda), Dean (Nancy), James, Matthew, Jenna, and Ella (Adam), and precious great grandchildren, Jared, Emily, Alyssa, and Jack.
Gwen and Jack were childhood sweethearts, married and raised their family on Marion St. in Oshawa, developing many wonderful lifelong friendships.
In their retirement, they built their dream home in Garden Hill where they met many treasured new friends and were active members of the community.
Gwen lost her beloved Jack in 2008, then spent several years in her lovely country home, until she made the move to her retirement home in Port Perry, where new friendships were made once again.
Her family would like to send special thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff at the Port Perry Villa, and the Oak Ridges Hospice for their compassion and exceptional care.
Visitation will take place at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME , 847 King St. W., on April 25, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00. A private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

It is with great sadness that the Family of the late Geraldine Carrie Waterman announce her peaceful passing on April 18th 2024 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa ON.
Predeceased by her Husband Joseph. Son Larry! Parents Alfred and Frances wells.
Her parents in law Hector and Netta Waterman. Brothers Leslie and Fred. Sisters Ida and Ivy. Brother in laws Fred, Herb and Howard.
Left to mourn are her Daughters, Roxanne (Graham), Robin (Leonard) and Ros. Grandchildren, Jamie (Jennilee), Jody (Vic), Felicia, Larry-Joe, Tony (Faith), Great Grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jamilee, Brailyn, Nolan, Sophia , Cali, Blake and Callie.
Special Sister in law Clara Wells who she Adored , and a large circle of nephews and Nieces, Family and Friends!

February 4, 1935 - April 12, 2024
Giovanni was born on February 4th,1935 in Sicily, Italy.
He immigrated to Montreal, Quebec with his family at the age of sixteen.
Giovanni was the eldest of three children with a younger brother and sister to follow.
On April 3rd, 1954, he married the love of his life, Antonina (Nina) Lombardo. They have three daughters Mary Schuller (Dieter), Caterina MacAskill (David), and Sylvie Muscat (Adrian). After a short residence in Torino, Italy, he and his family moved to Mississauga, Ontario. Giovanni (John) had an infectious smile.
He loved his wife and family, but most of all, he loved to talk to everyone about his religion and the teachings of Jehovah’s Witness.
He was a passionate crossing guard, serving school communities in Mississauga, Whitby and Oshawa. His love for the children was evident and their admiration in return was special to witness. Giovanni was known as "Nonno" to six grandchildren and their partners: Nicole Schuller-Furrer (Beni), Jessica (Jaye)Falcioni (Drew MacLeod), Stephanie Neals (Justin), Natasha Falcioni (Asa), Christopher MacAskill (Amanda) and Matthew MacAskill (Andrea).
He enjoyed his role as a great-grandfather to Braxton and Oakley (Stephanie/Justin), sadly passing shortly before his great-granddaughter's expected arrival (Chris/Amanda).
In February, Giovanni had a bad fall and broke his hip; he was hospitalized but never recovered. He died peacefully at Lakeridge Health Whitby on April 12th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and devoted elder (clergy). May he rest in peace.
A Memorial Service will take place at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. Family and
Friends are welcome for a Celebration of Life and fellowship immediately following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Room.
Peacefully, with family by his side, Gord passed away on Monday, April 15th, 2024 in his 69th year.
Cherished husband of 43 years to Denise.
Beloved brother to Ken (Cathy), Bonnie Dyste (Jim) and brother-in-law to Gail Cunningham (Jeff).
Gord will be greatly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gord’s faith was highlighted with his brilliant smile and positive attitude.

After a brief illness, Glenn passed away at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, April 9th, just shy of his 65th birthday.
Beloved son of the late John and Ida Howatt.
Loving brother of Elizabeth and Heather and the late Brenda, John and Richard. Glenn will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Beloved son of the late Albert and Edith Carey.

It is with deep sadness and regret that we announce the passing of (George) Gary Shore.
Gary passed away on Saturday March 30, 2024, with his family by his side, at the age of 88.
He had a very fulfilling and happy life with Ann. Gary is survived by Ann, daughter Debby, son-in-law Bob, and granddaughters Rachel and Kristen. He was supported by Solomon Barkley, Dylan Laupacis and their many friends.
He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Vicky. He is survived by his sister-in-law Jean Shore, brother-in-law John Little and his wife Myrna, brother-in-law John Pinney, and many nieces and nephews.
During their lives, Gary and Ann developed many lifelong friendships, which brought them much comfort and joy.
Gary had a long and successful career with the TD Bank, and during his time at the Bank, developed many meaningful and lasting friendships.
Gary was a kind, thoughtful and generous person who was always welcoming to everyone.
He will be sorely missed. In remembrance, please make donations to the Parkinson’s Society in Gary’s name. .
96, died peacefully, on March 29, 2024 in Pickering, Ontario, as a result of cancer.
George was predeceased by his loving wife of 40 years, Joan (Armstrong); and leaves behind his children, Craig (Wendy) and Linda; and grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Olivia and Eric.
George spent his 40-plus year career with divisions of Canadian Pacific in Toronto, Montreal and Bermuda and was proud to have served in Canada's reserve army for 18 years with the 48th Highlanders of Canada.
His family are grateful for the care and love he received at Chartwell Pickering City Centre and Amica Pickering Memory Care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 48th Highlanders Trust.

Peacefully, with his girls by his side, in his 89th year, on March 28, 2024, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Gerry, was predeceased by Lorna, his loving wife of 56 years.
Gerry was a dear father to Kelly and Kim. Caring grandfather to Emily and Mary-Anne (Ryan) and great grandfather to Rory. Gerry was a devoted brother to Tony (Eileen), David (Marie) and his only sis Dorothy.
He was a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews in England and Canada.
Gerry was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Hilda of Birmingham, England.
He will be greatly missed by his many friends in the UK and Canada.
