It is with great sadness that the family of Norma Lettie Bell announces her peaceful passing on December 31st, 2022, surrounded by family in her 93rd year.
Norma will be lovingly remembered by her 8 children, Christine, Nancy, Cindy, Gabrielle, Scott, Tracy, Russell and Tamrah.
She will be sadly missed by her 6 in-laws, 8 granddaughters, 11 grandsons, 16 great-grandchildren and many other family members and cherished friends.
A very special thank-you to the wonderful staff and many friends at Norma's apartment - Cedarcroft Place in Oshawa, for their attention and friendship over the last 9 years.
Norma always said her home at Cedarcroft was like being on a cruise ship.

1938 - 2022
84, of Ajax, Ontario, passed away peacefully at Ajax Pickering Hospital on December 29, 2022, beloved wife of the late Milton Wesley Campbell (2018).
Norma is survived by three daughters, Janis Campbell (Tom Anderson), Kelly Campbell (MJ Miller), Juli (Dave) Such, two sons John Campbell (Deborah Fox), Sam Campbell (Kim), seven grandchildren Sam (Mishelle), Darell, Sierra (Matt), Brianna (Josh), Terry (Mackie), Alyssa, Madison, and seven great grandchildren Preston, Spencer, Jaxon, Lyla, Seth, Faith and Luna.
Norma was the second eldest of four children, Mona (predeceased 2022), Bill (Brenda), Mary (Fred).
Norma was a stay at home mom while her children were growing up and then worked for many years at Tarxien in Ajax.
She was very involved in her children’s sports and activities in their younger years.
She was also involved with the Town of Ajax Ringette executive committee for which she was inducted into the Ringette Hall of Fame and also received an Ajax sports award.
She spent most summer weekends and holidays in Lindsay, ON camping with her family making many happy memories that are still talked about today.

Surrounded by love, late in the day on December 11th, 2022 we said our goodbyes to a beautiful and gentle soul.
Nonie was the true meaning of a lady, better known as “mom, nana, nonnie, or great-nan”.
Nonie passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
She is now reunited with the love of her life Bill. Much loved by her three children Mike (Julie Ann), Scott (Tammy) and Anne (Jameel).
Adoring grandma of Nicholas (Amber), Cotey, Courtney (Melissa), Josh (Ashley), Rianna (Kim) and Brandon, as well as her great-grandchildren Kayleigh, Amelia, Wyatt, Echo, Blake, Aurora and Levi.
She is survived by Bill’s siblings Robert (Judy), Richard (Jan) and Marci.
She was always prepared for visitors with a coffee or tea, and one of her famous ham sandwiches.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nick Berkuta, age 76, of Oshawa, Ontario passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022.
Pre deceased by his loving wife Jeanette of almost 52 years.
Loving father of Robert (Ashely), Andrea, and Chris (Heather).
Adored grandfather (aka Papa) to Courtney, Isaak, Chase, and Brynnley.
Nick loved spending time with his friends on the golf course, fishing with his grandkids, was a lifelong Leafs fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
A visitation for Nick will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St West.
A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:30 in our chapel.
Following the service, burial will take place at Union Cemetery, 760 King St West, Oshawa, Ontario.

1938 - 2022 Nelson Yin Hai Yu passed away peacefully on November 25th 2022 at 12:39am in Scarborough General Hospital with loving family around.
He was born on August 8th 1938 in Karachi, Pakistan. Born as the second son to Yu Shwee Theing and Kuo Shih.
He carried the title of second eldest with grace, dignity and great love for all of his siblings.
He married Eileen Ai Lan Yoe on October 10th 1960.
Together they had 6 children, 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He worked diligently as a denturist and became a master of his craft with utmost humility. His quiet nature served as both a peaceful and commanding presence in any room.
Better known to his loved ones as Papa, Tete, Eh and Hero, he exceeded the standard of each of his roles.
Respectful husband, loving father, patient grandfather, generous friend.
Although 84 years feels too short still and he will sorely be missed, we are extremely blessed and fortunate to have shared any amount of time with this one of a kind man — our hero.
Nelson loved each and every one of his grandchildren unconditionally. He never forgot any of our birthdays or how old any of us were. He was the epitome of kindness.
We will never forget his beautiful smile and laugh. The late nights he stayed up to tell us stories or play cards.
He was always thinking of others, spreading love and kindness.

Passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife of 42 years Cathy on Thursday November 24th in his 83rd year.
Now reunited with parents Bill and Anna Schinas, brothers, sisters and mamacita Kathleen King.
He will be dearly missed by his loving daughter Anna(Nick's beloved Tavli opponent) and her mother Helen.
He is survived by his brother Jim(Dena), sister Olga(Angelo), predeceased by his siblings Fani, George, Mike, Tasia and Poppy.
He will be dearly missed by sisters-in-law Dena and Cia, cousin Tasia as well as his many cherished nieces and nephews.
He will also be dearly missed by his wife's entire extended family, near and far as well as his many, many friends. Memories of many days spent in the garden with brother-in-law/partner-in-crime Jim(Mary) were prized by Nick. Knowing and spending time with Nick are times held dear by his "boys" Dale, Thom, Randy, Clayton, Ryan, god-daughter Jaimie and Sherry.
Not to be forgotten are Caroline and Wayne(sis and bro)for their unconditional love and support of Cathy and Nick, always and forever.

Norma Passed away suddenly at home on November 19, 2022 at the age of 96.
Norma was predeceased by her loving husband Wallace (1987) and is survived by her step daughter Diane Debackere of Davenport, Iowa and her granddaughter Deidre (Rick) and greatgranddaughter Jorja Myers of Ankeny, Iowa.
Norma was predeceased by her parents Charles and Elizabeth Bowen, her sisters Helen (Wilbur Kingston), Dorothy (Allan Imeson), brother in law Ron MacGregor, nieces Karen Delaney, Bev Marner and nephews Brian MacGregor and Ted Johns.
She will be sadly missed by her sister Joan MacGregor, her nieces Janet Joncas, Leanne McAlister and will be fondly remembered in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 9:30am until the time of service in the chapel at 10am.

Loving great grandmother to Charlotte, Adaline, Ava, Logan, Theo and Dallas.
Beloved sister to brother Dale (Janet) and Lorraine (John).
She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by family and friends and all who knew her.
Norma’s love for her family and desire to see them succeed and be happy was always evident.
Her love for music, gardening and musicals was an inspiration to many but mostly her children. Her philosophy of “family first” guided her throughout her life.
An employee of Glazier Medical Centre (Oshawa) for over 35 years, Norma was a trailblazer and helped establish an environment of inclusion and respect for patients and co-workers alike.
Norma will be remembered for her tender heart, beautiful smile, gracious charm and strength, and love of a good joke.
The family appreciates all of your prayers and kind gestures during this difficult time.
