Loving husband and father.
A handyman who could fix his car, a friend's lawn mower or do anything on his own as well as a diligent hard worker, who always took extra shifts at work to provide for his family.
He was gentle, but strong, and although expressing emotions wasn't his strong suit, our love between family and friends are no less powerful.
We all feel pride for the many tall buildings that he helped construct in his life, blessed and loved for the times he would drive his family around to see the world, taking them anywhere in his car.
But no matter where we went as a family, as long as we were together, that's where home was.
We will miss him very much, and hope to embrace him in peace and love one day in heaven.

Sonja loved baking, was a french fry enthusiast, and gave the best hugs. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends. Recognizing the difficulty to condense Sonja into a few short sentences, we want to end with a Bible verse that was given to Sonja when she was baptized that she held close to her heart, especially during difficult times.
