Loving grandmother of Justyn and Jesse.

Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Living through the depression and WWII instilled in her the strength and courage to leave Greece in 1958 and move to Canada in search of a better life.
In 1964, she married Chris and three daughters followed, completing the family she always wanted. She always said how much she enjoyed cooking and baking and taking care of her family. We always knew and felt that love, especially during the holiday feasts she always loved to host.
She was kind and tender and many knew that she had a generous heart. She was quiet by nature, but it was balanced by her playful humor.
Many would be surprised to know she had a photographic memory for Greek songs and poetry that she would often recite for her daughters.
She loved her flowers and garden, but most of all she loved being a mom and grandmother.
A very special thank you to her youngest daughter, Kondelo, for all the love and unfailing care of our mom. The family wants to extend their sincerest gratitude to all of the staff of 4F at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, for their gentle and compassionate care.
