It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Kaleb.
He was fun loving, sweet, kind, gentle, and while sometimes quiet, was known to laugh boisterously and talk non-stop to those he was comfortable with.
Kaleb’s smile will forever shine in our hearts, and his laughter will reverberate in our memories.
A fireman to be, Kaleb wanted to help others in need - a true testament to his heart and soul.
Kaleb loved football, he loved to game on his computer, but most of all he loved his motorcycle and KalebRocket was a beloved member of his crew.
A beautiful spirit has left us far too soon.
Deeply loved by Ray, Aliya, Karissa, Sage, and Mia. Eternally loved by Natasha, Joel, Karissa, Kaiyah, Eli, Malachi, Debbie, Joel, Chantel and the rest of Pereira / Da Silva family.
Adored by his grandparents Rick and June, and a priceless gift to his cousins Dylan and Ava, his Pua Shelly, Uncle Rob, Uncle Ryan and the extended paternal family. Kaleb, a space in our hearts will forever be saved for you. We will miss you forever and we will always love you. Wherever we go, you will go with us, you will ride with us.

Longtime resident of Whitby, Ontario passed away on Saturday August 26th peacefully with family at her side.
Karen was born in August 1942 and was the daughter of Albert Edwards and Lillian Edwards (Humm) and sister to Gary and Robert Edwards all who lived in Port Whitby growing up.
Upon leaving school Karen worked with family members Lorne and Marg Silver at the Silver Grill Restaurant on Brock St. S. (Now called the Lake Grill)
It was there that she met her husband Peter Pallock who she married in 1963 at the age of 21 and began her new career as an Apple Farmer’s wife at Pallock Orchards and a year later became a mother to her only child Brian Pallock.
Karen's husband Peter passed in 2008 which ended the farming part of her life and Karen then moved back to Whitby, living at the Yacht club condo in Port Whitby.
At that time She took on a new job as a volunteer at the Brooklin community center for the next 10 years helping in the coffee shop and any other tasks as needed and also worked from home making weekly phone calls to senior shut-ins brightening their days with her humour and brightness.
Through all of the years, Karen was close to her family being Baba (Grandmother) to Nathan and Alyssa Pallock as well as a supportive mom in law to her son's wife Tanya.
Karen loved to go for Sunday drives with Peter as well as fishing and was an avid crossword puzzler and card player. She was also a great baker who made the best apple pie and knew the best apples to use under that flakey crust. All of which was part of her love of a good dessert and a coffee.
In 2021 Karen finally slowed down a bit and moved to the Viva Whitby Shores community, making many new friends with residents and staff, while enjoying activities and bringing a smile to those around her.
Remaining to cherish Karen's memory are her friends as well as family with son Brian & wife Tanya, grandchildren & spouses: Alyssa & Justin, Nathan & Aimee as well as her dear brother Gary and his wife Carole…. and many nieces and nephews who loved her: Teresa, Marty, Bob, Greg, Janine, Sharon, Wade, Paul and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held: Sunday October 22nd - 1 to 4 pm, Viva Whitby Shores - Pints Pub, 51 Whitby Shores Greenway, Whitby, ON L1N 0M5.
