February 16, 1945 - December 2, 2023
Paul Erwin Wolf, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on December 2, 2023, in Uxbridge, Ontario.
He was born on February 16, 1945, in Osjek, Jugoslavia to the late Paul Sr. Karl and Irene Hoffmann.
In 1968, Paul and his beloved wife Angelika made the courageous decision to immigrate to Canada, seeking new opportunities and a better future. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. Sadly, Angelika preceded him in death.
Paul's family was an important part of his life. He was a loving father to his son Michael and daughter-in-law Karen.
His pride and joy were his granddaughters, Madison and McKenna, whom he adored and showered with love.
In addition to his immediate family, Paul shared a deep bond with his siblings. He was predeceased by his sister Edith.
Remaining in Germany are his brother Rado and sister Beatrix, who remember him with love and cherished memories. Paul will be deeply missed by his family, friends, many fishing buddies and partner Rose.
1938 - 2023
Pooran Pokan was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He left this world on December 1, 2023, at age 85, in Whitby, Ontario.
Pooran is survived by his wife of 60 years, Deokie (Mahesh); three children: Pamela (Aleem Ghanny), Victor (Andrea Gallant), and Gavin (Pam Chow); four grandchildren: Talisa, Jared, Ava and Kai.
He is survived by one sister, Boodeah (Mudas); and predeceased by his sisters, Rajwanti (Baby), Mahadai (Baab), and Bipti (Moon); and brothers, Harry and Sonny.
Pooran was born on August 28, 1938 in West Demerara, Guyana and had fond memories of spending his childhood on the family farm.
He studied to become a pharmacist and worked at St. Joseph's Mercey Hospital in Georgetown, Guyana, remaining in the medical field for over 10 years.
On January 1, 1976, Pooran and his family immigrated to Toronto, Canada, where he shifted careers by studying accounting and worked in the Treasury Department at INCO in the heart of the financial district for over 40 years. In 2003, Pooran retired and continued his passion for reading, gardening, bowling and cherishing the time with his grandchildren.
Post-retirement, Pooran and his wife travelled the world and explored India, China, Portugal, Morocco, Switzerland, Italy, and France, just to mention a few.
Visitation and Funeral will be held on December 7/8th, at the Ajax Crematorium & Visitation Centre.
July 11, 1965 - November 29, 2023
Passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at her home, at the age of 58.
Loving wife of Rodney Hefferton.
Cherished mother of Robert Parsons (Nadia), Kelly Parsons (Chris), T.J. Parsons (Kayley), and Cody Box (the late Kristen).
Devoted grandmother of Roman, Aysha, Caleb, Avery, Leah, Aidan, Jalyn, Kenzie, Cohen, and Kezmai.
Dear sister of Joanne, Marlene and the late Harold. Predeceased by her parents Marcie and David.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 3-4 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 4 p.m.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Jason Connor.
Paul passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health Ajax on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 at the age of 50.
Loving father to his children Emily and Owen, beloved son of Linda and the late Terry Connor, Big Brother to Lisa Shorts ( Paul Shorts) and Heather MacCallum (Mark MacCallum), Uncle to Kyle, Quinn, Connor and Ryan and Great Uncle to Hayden.
Paul will be remembered by his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and the rest of our extended family along with his co-workers and his many friends who knew him as VERN and all who loved him and shared in his many adventures.
Paul was a long standing member of IUEC Local 50. The family would like to thank the Durham Region First Responders as well as the staff at Lakeridge Health Ajax.
Pauls Celebration of Life will be held on Friday December 15th from 2 to 4pm at Accettone Funeral Home located in Ajax 384 Finley Ave L1S 2E3. Paul will be laid to rest along side his Dad at Thornton Cemetery in Oshawa.
A plaque will be added to his Dads memorial bench situated along the Ajax Waterfront.

Age 87 of Courtice, Ontario passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 14 2023.
Predeceased by is loving wife Gail Steenburgh Zurba.
Loving father to his Son's Jason & Joel and daughter Judith.
A proud and loving Grandfather & Great Grandfather, also know as GG.
Paul will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Paul retired from General Motors in 1994 after 38 years.
Paul loved working with wood and had a shop in his garage.
He had a passion and love for nature.
Some of Paul's passions were, Golfing, fishing, hunting occasionally, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Paul travelled all over the world doing missions work.
He went on to become a Reverend and worked closely with Abba ministries.
Rev Paul touched many lives and his love for Christ was heard and seen by the way he lived.
Celebration of Life will be held on November 25 2023 at Evangel Church 374 Farewell st. Oshawa ont. Visitation from 1pm - 2pm. Service at 2pm

Peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, November 13th, 2023 at 78 years of age.
Beloved husband of Beatrice for 57 years.
Cherished father of Whitney (Michelle).
Loving Pépère Pat to Alice and Henry.
Pat will be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters Lucille, Cheryl, Marilyn, Robert, Kathey, Electa and Gerry, his many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Pat was a longtime employee of General Motors for 44 years where he travelled extensively.
A special Thank You to the doctors and nurses at Lakeridge Health Oshawa especially those in the Critical Care Unit.

Passed away after a brief illness, with his family by his side on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 60.
Beloved brother of Teresa (Mike), Christine (Rick), Richard, and Ed. Cherished uncle of Alex, Ryan, and Matthew.
Peter will be sadly missed by his stepfather, Sebastian LoMagno and his family.
Predeceased by his parents Bronislaw and Irena.
Peter, affectionately known as ‘Ziggy’, will be fondly remembered by his colleagues and his loyal customers at Bad Boy Furniture, where he worked for over 25 years.
His sense of humour and love for the Montreal Canadiens will be remembered by all his friends and family. His presence will be especially missed by his broomball and ball hockey teammates.

It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Paul Pritchett on Nov., 8 2023 at the young
age of 50.
His wife Tanya and mother Bee were with him in his final hours and were able to say, I love you before
his passing.
Paul was a loving husband and the high school sweetheart to Tanya Pritchett.
Paul made many amazing memories that can never be taken away and Jaxon will cherish those moments forever.
Paul will be missed but never ever forgotten. He will live in our hearts forever.
Before he was a dad, Paul was an amazing uncle to his niece Ryley and nephew Brody Prebble.
He loved them like they were his own and would do anything for them. Paul is survived by his wife Tanya Pritchett and loving son Jaxon Pritchett, his mom Bee who will always miss her baby boy, late father Blair Pritchett and his older brother Alan Pritchett, his mother and father-in-law Linda and Frank Lee who he adored, sister and brother-in-law Loriann and Danny Prebble, niece and nephew Ryley and Brody Prebble.
Along with his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his Pops Fred Doiron. He had many friends and will be missed dearly.
