Born on July 25th, 1963 in Oshawa to Nancy and the late James Wilson of Scotland.
Survived by her sister Carol (Paul) and twin brother Jonathan (Freddy).
Christine faced her final journey with grace and courage, navigating the challenges of cancer with resilience and unwavering strength and dignity.
Christine shared 21 beautiful years with the love of her life Randy, living a life filled with laughter and cherished moments. Together they built a family with bonds that will last forever. They enjoyed travel with riends and family and welcomed new adventures.
Survived by her daughter Jacqueline and the treasured memory of her late daughter Jodie. She leaves behind a blended family embracing four stepchildren, Jamie (Jen), Adam (Heather), Tessa (Steve), and Quinn (Amy). Christine was the adored Gran of Blayne, Aubree, Patton, Paislee, Kaden, Brooke and Quinnlyn. They brought her immense joy and filled her life with warmth and happiness.
Christine adored her puppy Charley who brought her great comfort and peace after the passing of her Daughter Jodie.
Christine will be fondly remembered by her in-laws Sylvia Boissoin (Baba) and the late Ron Boissoin (Gigi). Christine's kind soul, generosity and thoughtfulness touched everyone around her leaving an unforgettable impact.
Christine was a dedicated and much respected long term employee of Lakeridge Health; playing an integral role in the development and opening of the DRCC, Christine diligently contributed leaving a legacy to be proud of. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bereaved Families of Ontario, Durham Chapter.
This organization had a special place in her heart after the passing of daughter Jodie.

Charles John Armstrong, born on October 15th, 1942, in Timmins, passed away on January 3rd, 2024, at the Timmins and District Hospital, the age of 81.
Growing up in Timmins with his sister and brothers, Charles cherished the bonds of family and the memories they created together. His loved deeply his daughter, Kristen, her husband Stephen, and grandson, Malcolm.
He also leaves behind his siblings Elizabeth (Paul), Paul (late Debbie), John (Pam), his niece Katherine, nephews Neil and Alex and his many friends. He is predeceased by his parents George and Helen Armstrong.
Chuck will be remembered for his zest for life, his love for his family, and his unwavering passion for the things he cherished most. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, adventure, and love that will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
He had a career of over 25 years of service at General Motors, which was more than a job. While he enjoyed his work, the people at GM were a more a second family, where he made life long friendships.
Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa on Wednesday January 10th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday January 11th at 11:00am.

It is with a heavy heart that we bid a peaceful, loving farewell to Catherine (Rena) Marie Hutchison (nee Oliver).
Rena passed away peacefully on Monday January 1st, at St. Michael’s hospital surrounded by her loving family at the blessed age of 86.
Rena is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Alex of 66 magical years, her 2 children Alan Hutchison (Karen) and Julie Mills (Cameron), her 5 beautiful grandchildren Eric, Leanne, Andrew, Stuart, and Alison, her “wee” brother Norman (Margaret), sisters-in-laws Betty (Dave), and Anne.
She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, in Canada, Scotland, the USA and Australia. Rena has touched so many people with her incredible warmth, compassion and radiant smile. Her laughter, quick humour and positivity would light up a room.
She was an active member of the community and Grace Presbyterian Church, where many deep friendships were formed.
Rena will be most remembered by her love and commitment to her family and friends. And of course, her delicious Scottish shortbread.

With broken hearts, we sadly announce Cory’s passing on Sunday December 17th, 2023 at the young age of 31 years.
Cory was the proud and loving daddy of his pride and joy, son George.

He was extremely handy, able to fix and renovate all sorts of projects. He was a plumber by trade, but a jack of all! His greatest joy was the arrival of his son George, spending time with him, the smiles on both their faces would light up a room.
He was a loving son, brother and partner and even though his time on earth was short, he left a mark on the hearts of all the lives he touched. He will be forever missed.

Together they lovingly raised five children Michelle (Michael), Gerry (Robin), Patrick, Chris (Christine) and David. Her grandchildren delighted Carole -Matthew (Valérie), Brianne (Adam), Kaitlin, Allison, Taylor, Valerie, Shannon, April, Fin and Zachary. Carole (G.G.) was blessed to have spent time with her great-grandchildren Audrey, Miller, Spencer, James and Ben.
Carole had three wonderful and supportive sisters Denise (Ty), Lynne Anne (Ron), Susan (Ron).
Her nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart Shane (Rachel), Kailan, Megan, Mark (El) and Laura (Dave).
Family was an integral part of Carole’s life and she was especially proud of her large, Irish family the Harnett’s.
She adored her aunts, uncles and cousins many of whom are predeceased but always remained in her heart, thoughts and prayers.
Carole was a devout Catholic who epitomized what it meant to serve God by serving her neighbours.
She demonstrated love by the kind and compassionate way she interacted with others and through her plethora of volunteer activities over the years (e.g., fundraiser for the Kidney Foundation, member of the Chaplaincy Team at Scarborough General Hospital, Volunteer at Providence Centre in the palliative care area, assisted with the “Out of the Cold” program, canvassed for the Cancer Society, was a weekday reader at Annunciation Catholic Church and volunteered at the Art Gallery of Ontario).
We will never forget this beautiful soul and will always remember how much she loved and was loved! God bless you and keep you until we meet again.

We regretfully announce the passing of Chris Buratynski, who passed away surrounded by his loved ones on December 3 2023.
Chris had a difficult battle with cancer and is finally at rest.
He will be forever loved and forever remembered. Chris was an independent Programming Computer Consultant at various large automotive companies owned and operated Pegasus Business Enterprises (PBE INC) in Ajax for over 45 years.
PBE INC was Chris's pride, joy, and life's work. He poured his heart and soul into the business which showed to all customers and patrons of PBE INC Chris’s favorite sports were Hockey, Badminton, and Fishing, and he coached and mentored his children through the minor leagues of their recreational sports teams.
Everyone who knew Chris knew how he had a big personality.
Chris was full of positivity traits that were obvious to all after even just a single meeting with Chris.
Chris is survived by Wife Sara Buratynski, Children Luana, Eric, and Lisa Buratynski, and Grandson Bentley, and an abundance of extended family & friends.
We will miss Chris more than words can say.
Services are being held at McEachnie Funeral Home, followed by a mass at St Francis De Sales Church.
