Dear brother of Joan (Arthur) and Grant (Charlotte).

Glenna Marie McConnell
November 4, 1931 – November 29, 2023
We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Glenna McConnell at her home surrounded by her family.
She will be missed by her daughter Marilyn Damant (Dana), granddaughter Shannon Brockbank (Steve), great-grandson Carter, and her niece Ann (Ken).
She is reunited with her beloved husband Don (2003).
Throughout her life Glenna enjoyed swimming, gardening, bowling, curling and travelling.
She made many friends worldwide and maintained those friends her whole life.
As per Glenna’s wishes, there will be no funeral; cremation has taken place.

George Arthur Fenson
Suddenly, on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 74.
George Fenson of Sunderland, beloved husband of the late Sheila (nee Fielding).
Loved father of Heather Hoover, Dale Fenson and Carla Martins, and the late George Fenson Jr. Loving grandfather of Scott, Michael, Connor, MaKenzie, and great grandfather of Ruby.
Private interment. A celebration of George’s life will be held at a later date.

Glen O’Hara
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Glen Cameron O’Hara on November 23, 2023 at the age of 65 at his home in Oshawa, Ontario.
Glen was born in Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia to Lester O’Hara (New Glasgow) and the late Theresa Cameron O’Hara.
Glen leaves behind his brothers Lester (Sonny) (New Glasgow), William (Billy) (New Glasgow), Nelson (Oshawa) and sisters Edna (Dartmouth), Sheila (Dartmouth), Patricia (predeceased), 7 nieces, and a nephew, along with a large extended family and many friends.
Glen made his connections with people he loved a priority.
He will be remembered for his huge heart and his willingness to listen to those he loved.
Cremation has taken place.
Glen will make his final journey home to Nova Scotia where he will find his final resting place with the ones he loved.

Gerry, beloved husband for 47 years of Rita Krukkert and close companion for 10 years of Tonny Nijenhuis.
Devoted father of Bernie of Ottawa, Peter of Courtice, and David (Lisa) of Millbrook.
Loving Opa of Tony, Ryan and Chantel (Matthew). Great opa of Wyatt, Walker and Warren.
Dear brother of Jos (predeceased), Bertus, Harry (predeceased), Marinus (predeceased), Annie, Frans, Wim (predeceased), Hennie (predeceased) and Rietje.
Visitation will be held at Newcastle Funeral Home on Thursday November 30th, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday December 1st, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (214 King Ave E, Newcastle, ON L1B 1H5) at 11:00 am. Interment will follow.
Guests are invited to join the reception at St. Francis following the burial.

Passed away peacefully after a very brief illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday November 19th, 2023, at the beautiful age of 93 years.
Reunited with the love of her life Malcolm (2009).
Amazing and loving mother of William, David, and Diane.
Adored grandmother of Paul Wright, Mark Wright (Emily), Eric and Carson Townsend. Will be fondly remembered by Claire Wright and Chris Townsend.
Survived by her brother Keith Sutherland (Cathy).
Predeceased by her siblings Eric and Neal Sutherland. Dear daughter of the late Wemyss and Hazel Sutherland. Will be missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Marie passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on November 16, 2023, at the age of 92.
Born on November 3, 1931, Gladys Marie Higgs (nee Randall).
Predeceased by her loving husband Orval.
She was a loving mother of Michael (Estee), Linda (David) Porter and Annette (Darryl) Bennett, grandmother of Michael Higgs Jr., Steven Higgs, Joel Porter, Michael Lyons, Sara Lyons, Karma Bennett, great grandmother of Marques Lyons-Steele and Jordan Gallant.
Close friend of Marques’ grandmother Pam Steele.
Dear sister of Yvonne Graham. Dear sister-in-law of Elaine Garvie. Predeceased by her parents William and Mary Randall, her siblings Berniece Harris (Ted), Jack Randall (Sabina), and Inez Skinner (Cliff) and brother in-law David Graham. Marie will be forever remembered by many nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, many close friends and neighbours.
Also, she had a passion for sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting and reading.
Visitation will be held at THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE , 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road, 905-579-6787) on Thursday, November 23 from 11 am until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 12 noon with Rev. David Porter officiating.

Suddenly and tragically passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the age of 52.
Beloved brother of Jennifer Wiebe (Jim), Lawrence (Airiel), and Christopher (Rachel).

Predeceased by his parents Victor & Joan Morand. Glen will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
He had an infectious smile, loving personality, wonderful sense of humour and loved to make people laugh. His kind and gentle soul will be fondly remembered.

Gordon James Trumbley
(August 17, 1949 - November 5, 2023) -
It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Gordon Trumbley on November 5th, 2023 at the age of 74.
By his side and throughout his courageous battle with a short-term illness, Gord passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa surrounded by his loving family.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved companion Betty Eteli.
He will also be sorely missed and forever remembered by his adored daughter, Pam Pope, and his loving son, Greg (Nicole). He was the amazing, loving, and proud "Grampa Gord" to Tristan and Maddison. Gord is also survived by his brother Doug (Judy) and his nieces Kara (Rich) and Kayley.
Predeceased by his father Donald, and his mother Edna (Spence), as well as his sisters Donna and Elaine. Will forever be fondly remembered by his friend and mother of his two children, Pat Trumbley. Gord will also be fondly and devotedly remembered by Tyson and Jassy Eteli and their families.
Furthermore, he will be forever loved and deeply missed by his furry companion Lexi, who always made sure to keep him in line and made sure he was ok. Gord will always be remembered for his amazing and cynical sense of humor, his gentle, non-judgemental, easygoing approach, his utmost kindness, his extreme generosity, and his ability and willingness to always help others.
If anyone ever had a problem or needed any sort of guidance, advice, or support, Gord was always right there without hesitation and always had the right answers. For these reasons--among many others--he will be missed tremendously by an abundance of friends all of which he accumulated with ease during his 74 years on earth.
The family would also like to extend our sincerest thanks to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa who took part in the loving care that was provided--especially the doctors and nursing staff of the Critical Care Unit - Station 1.
As per Gord's wishes, no visitation or funeral service will take place.
A Celebration of Life will be held and announced at a later date.

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at North York General Hospital.
Adored wife of David Bush for 68 wonderful and happy years.

Proud Nana/Nanny of Joel, Cayleigh, Hannah, Abby, Amy, Erin, Alex and Olivia.
Dear sister of Ellen Seely and the late Sandra and Robyn.
She is predeceased by her parents Gordon and Kitty Osborne. Gordonna was born in Parry Sound and was a long-time resident of Whitby. She enjoyed travelling, baking, crafting, spending time at the cottage and being with her family.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road in Whitby ON.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Whitby in Gordonna's honour would be appreciated.
