Passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital, East York, on Monday, September 4, 2023, in his 81st year.
Beloved uncle of Steven Coté (Elissa) Jeffrey Côté (Michael McQuain), and Michael Coté.
Great Uncle to Steven, Cassandra, Caitlyn, Kaelham, and Ayden.
Remembered fondly by his brother-in-law Gerald Côté.
Son of the late Arthur and Edna Magee and brother of the late Sandra Côté.

With heartfelt sorrow, the family of Perlita Capule Tadeja announces her passing on September 2nd, 2023 in the company of her family at home in her 78th year.
She is the loving and beloved wife of Rev. Bill Tadeja; dedicated mother of Stan (Erika), Genevieve, Roxy (James) and Benjamin (April).
Cherished Lola to Gabrielle, Javan, Cody, Chantelle, Brianna, Jaxon, Elijah, Isaac, Madeleine, Kinsley and Exan, and “adopted” Tita/Aunt of many children who were deeply cherished by her.
Pearl came from a beautiful family of 16 children.
Her parents, Donato and Julia Capule, influenced many people in their community of Cabanatuan City, both as pastors in the community and running a local newspaper business.
They passed on to their children a belief in an unwavering faith in God through Jesus Christ, with the love of the Holy Spirit.
Friends are welcome to join with the family for visitation on Friday September 8th from 1pm to 4pm and 5pm to 8pm at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME , 124 King Street East, Oshawa. A Celebration of Perlita’s Life will take place in the Chapel at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME on Saturday September 9th at 10:30am.
Cremation will take place with a Private Family interment of ashes at GROVESIDE CEMETERY .

Peter loved family time with his extended family and friends. He also enjoyed travelling, long drives, gardening, watching golf and soccer, polka and country gospel music and playing the organ.
A Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME , 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday August 3rd at 11am in the Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10am to 11am.

It is with sadness the family of Paul Laidlaw, 78, of Moncton, and formerly of Beaverton, ON announce his passing at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, July 14, 2023.
Born in Toronto, ON he was the son of the late Myron and Muriel Laidlaw.
Paul was goalie for Beaverton, ON, Old Timers hockey team for years. He curled all over ON with a superteam.
And what a dancer he was! In retirement his main interests were sailing The Prowler and wood carving. Paul was one of the good husbands and family men.
As his best friend said “if there ever was a better man in the world, I’ve never met him”
Thank you to Tammy and Graham and Jennifer his wife, for loving and supporting us through this hard time. I miss you Paul.
Paul will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Wendy Laidlaw (nee Marriott); his children, Tammy Doughty and Graham Laidlaw; grandchildren, Cherie, Ella, Aurora and Van; great granddaughter, Hazel; as well as his extended family and friends.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Arrangements with Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton.

It is with love and deep sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Young, nee McRae, who passed away on July 13, 2023 at the age of 87.
Pearl is survived by her loving husband Merlin McAndrew, sister Judy Scutt, daughters Darlene (John), Shelley and Jennifer(Dave), as well as 5 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Meghan, Graham, Jack, Matthew and Kylie.
Predeceased by husband Merwin Young, mother and step-dad Hazel and Ross Keatley, father Wyman McRae, and brother Ian McRae.
Fondly remembered by Merlin's family; Yvonne and Ed, Angie, Deron and Tamara.
Pearl was raised near Brownsburg Quebec and spent many years of her banking career at Scotiabank Grenville. She was an avid gardener and very proud of her Scottish heritage.
Pearl most recently resided in Ajax, Ontario where she enjoyed spending time with family and making new friends.
She will be dearly missed by family and all who knew her sense of humour and lovely smile.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will occur on July 22nd at McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax, On. Interment to take place at a later date in Avoca, Quebec.
