It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Rosa Forsellino at Thornton View Long Term Care on Friday February 16th, 2024 at the age of 89 years.
Predeceased by her beloved and devoted husband Pasquale. Loving Mom to Patrizia (Victor).
Proud Nonno-Mama to Ariana and Benjamin.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the amazing staff of Thornton View Long Term Care.
We are so grateful for all the love and care that they have given my mom. She was very blessed to have so many amazing PSWs and Nurses.
They made my mom's last stop on this earth an amazing experience, making her feel just like she was at home.
I cannot thank them enough. Rosa will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her immediate family, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King Street, West (905-721-1234) on Friday February 23, 2024 from 9:00 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.

Robert passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, Toronto after a short battle with cancer.
Robert was a proud Korean war veteran.
Loving husband to the late Irene Loreen (Kozma).
Beloved father of Ross (Analyn) Houle of Cold Lake Alberta, and Cindy (Walter) Zyhar of Oshawa.
Proud grandfather to Justin, Andrian and Justine. Robert is survived by his brothers Henry, Norman, Rolland and Richard, and sisters Dorothy, Rolanda, and Jacqueline.
Many thanks to the caregivers, therapists and medical staff of Sunnybrook Veterans Centre who so enriched Robert’s final years.
A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Beaverton on July 20, 2024 from 1-4P.M. Poppy ceremony to be held at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in memory of Robert, to the Beaverton Legion or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Ronit loved to play the piano, work in the garden, grow vegetables, swim, boating and was a fantastic cook. During her life, Ronit loved all of her dogs: Quifford, Timbit, Pugsley, Muffin and Charlie.
She was the best momma to them and took such good care of them.

Age 90 passed peacefully on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Lakeridge Bowmanville Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by her three children in her final moments.
Born August 25, 1933 in Berlin, Germany to Herbert and Hildegard Mueller, she married Wilhelm Josef Schmahl in 1954 and immigrated to Canada in 1956.
Renate was loved by her children, Bill and his spouse, Lina, son Tom, and daughter Doris and spouse Arthur and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She always maintained a close relationship with her brothers Hartmut and Eberhard and their families in Germany.
She enjoyed her time with her many friends playing games, playing cards and especially loved watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, seldom missing a game.
A special thank you to the caring staff at Bowmanville Hospital.
