It is with deep sadness that prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Kenneth Gregory Goddard, who passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024, at the age of 88. Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Goddard, and will be dearly missed by his children: Christopher Goddard, Kevin Goddard; daughters-in-law, Rosalyn Goddard and Mary Campisi; and his grandchildren, William Goddard, Joseph Goddard, Coen Goddard, Gabriel Goddard, Grady Goddard, Alex Ruggieri, and Christopher Ruggieri.
Kenneth was known for his dedication to coaching football, and his passion and knowledge made a tremendous impact on many players. Kenneth mentored countless young athletes, contributing to programs at Paul Dwyer, St. Mary C.S.S., Henry Street High School, The Oshawa Hawkeyes, The Scarborough Rams, York University, and St. Mary University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Visitation will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario, L1J 2L4. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the same location.

Terence (Terry) Frederick Edwin Giles passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on November 5, 2024, at the age of 95. Terry was predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years, Jean Giles (nee Mason), and leaves behind a loving family and cherished memories.
Terry was a devoted father to Lynn (David) and Karen (Jeff), a proud grandfather to Samantha (Chris) and Sarah (Kris), and a great-grandfather to Ben, Laura, Leah, and Monroe. His legacy of kindness, wisdom, and love will live on through them.
A retiree of the City of Oshawa’s Planning and Development Department, Terry also proudly served as a past member of the Ontario Regiment, Oshawa Legion Branch 43, and as the Charter President of the Oshawa Parkwood Rotary Club.
In accordance with Terry’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff of the geriatric and palliative care units at Ross Memorial Hospital, as well as the kind team at Kawartha Lakes Retirement Residence.

GREEN, William “Bill” - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the age of 86 years. Husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Green. Beloved father of Jennifer (Gary) & John Green. Cherished grandpa of Jessica and Emily.

Suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, October 25, 2024, in his 83rd year with his family by his side.
Wayne was predeceased by his beloved wife, Isabel (2017), his daughter, Lisa (2007), and his grandson, Cole (1994). He is survived by his children, Catherine, Jerry, and Tracy, as well as Shirley and Michael. Wayne will be missed by his grandchildren, Victoria, Arya, Meghan, and Brooklyn, and by his sister-in-law, Jaimee. He was a loving great-grandfather to Gabrielle (Gabby), Nathaniel, and Breanna and will be fondly remembered by his fur babies, Cotton and Loki.
As per Wayne’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matt Gillies at the age of 32, on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024.
Matt was a beautiful son to Lorrene and Ken McMullen, and Martin Gillies. He was a proud father to his children Olivia, Noah, Jack, Callan, and their mother Michelle Attard, along with their grandmother Beth Attard.
He was loved by his aunts Delores, Valerie, Mavis, Donna, Linda, Marg, Dale, Sherry, and uncles Jeff and Todd, as well as step-grandparents Ken and Pat. He will also be fondly remembered by his cousins Mitch, Caitlin, Cody, Shane, Leah, Talya, Sarah, Joey, Jennifer, Rachel, and Dougie, along with many nieces and nephews.
Matt had a wide circle of friends including Garrett, Paul, Shaun, Sam and Chris Attard, Mike Attard, Kaitie and Dan, Lee, Kevin, Thomas, Bryant, Derrick, and Mike.
Visitation will take place on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 1:30 PM, followed by a service at 2:30 PM and a reception at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax. A private family interment will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Margaret’s In-the-Pines Cemetery, 4130 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough.

Sean Douglas Gazey
January 23, 1970 – October 11, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sean Douglas Gazey on October 11, 2024, at the age of 54. Sean was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Sheila Gazey (nee Hayes), and was preceded by his cherished father, George. Sean will be deeply missed by his two daughters, Kristyn (Reid) and Heather (Alasdair), who were the pride and joy of his life.
He is warmly remembered by his brother, David (Judi), and sisters, Adele (Andrea) and Janet (Paul). Sean was predeceased by his brother, Drew, in 2018 (wife Patricia, son Colin (Angela) and Dave). A heartfelt thank you to Jillian (Troy), Xander, and Kaia, who were like a second family to the Gazey Family.
A special thank you to the incredible staff at Hillsdale for their wonderful care and attention to Sean during his time there.
Sean had an infectious zest for life. Passionate about drawing, he used his creativity to create art that resonated with many. An all-around athlete, Sean began with high school football and later embraced sledge hockey, playing for the Durham Steelhawk Sledge Hockey team. His love for sports extended to soccer, where his Guildwood soccer team won the Canadian Under-18 National Championship. Sean also dedicated himself to coaching all of Kristyn's soccer teams, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship among young players.
Sean had a deep affection for dogs, often finding joy in their companionship. He was also a champion in the fight against type 1 diabetes, raising awareness and supporting those affected by the condition.
Sean’s warm spirit, passion for life, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Isabelle Marie Reine Guyett

Forever In Our Hearts, Isabelle Marie Reine Guyett (nee Emond), the beloved Matriarch of her family, passed peacefully at the age of 89 on October 8, 2024, surrounded by her children. Born in Lac-Ste-Marie, Quebec, on February 7, 1935, to Donné Emond and Marie Anne Sicard, Isabelle lived a full and generous life.
On September 20, 1954, Isabelle married the love of her life, Bernard "Bernie" Guyett, and together they enjoyed 67 wonderful years. The couple helped run the Continental Hotel in Arthur, ON, and soon started their family. Isabelle was deeply involved in her community, devoting time to the Catholic Church and the Breakfast Club. She also found joy in fiber arts, 5-pin bowling, curling, golf, and baking with her children and grandchildren.
Isabelle is survived by her brother Norman Emond (Marlene); her children, Mike, James, Linda (Eric), Ron (Kelly), Len, and Steve (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Kate, Christine (Dan), Ashleigh (Kyle), Matthew, Michael (Kristine), Jeffrey (Gaynelle), Jaime (Tyler), Jocelyn, and Elia; and great-grandchildren, Aislinn, Hannah, Chloé, Aaron, Alexandra, Sterling, Remi, and Brayden. She is reunited in peace with her husband Bernard; her brothers, Reg and Rudy; and her sister, Collette.
A memorial service will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 18th, followed by a reception.

GRAY, Fern Eileen Gray - 10-May-1936 - 5-Oct-2024
It is with celebration that the family is announcing that Fern Eileen May Gray (nee Glover) has graduated from this earth to Glory to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Fern passed away on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at 88 years old. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Ken) Lowrie, sons Brian (Rita) and David (Katy). She is also survived by her grandchildren Jessica (David) Kennedy, Emma (Brent) Baggett, Abigail (John) Brant, Jonathon, Hannah, Zachary, James and Emily. She has met all four of her great-grandchildren Brodie, Caragh, Aoibhinn, and Brooke. She is survived by her sisters Pauline Meeks, Sylvia Emmett (Robert) and Donna Warder, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family. She is predeceased by her husband and the love of her life for 66 years, Larry William Gray and her brothers William and Douglas Glover.
Fern had a servant’s heart and was faithful in her local church, Bible Club and Christian Camps. She was a natural student and teacher, was hospitable and always opened her home for family gatherings, Bible Club and Young People’s meetings. Her desire was that her children systematically studied the bible and encouraged children with Big Chocolate Bars to learn God’s word. She loved crafts, cake decorating, teaching and anything to do with children’s ministries. Her hearts desire was to have children and women study God’s word. She impacted many lives.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hillsdale Terrace for their care and support.
