August 25, 1924 – October 16, 2021
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Scarborough General Hospital on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in his 98th year.
Loving husband to Jean (nee Skitch) for 73 years.
Loving father to his six children Barbara (Jim), Brenda (John), Linda (Bob), Morley, Michael (Lorraine)and Lorna (Darrin). Predeceased by his brother, Jack.
Dear grandfather of 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
A retired employee of the Metro Roads Dept.
Frank had a lifelong love for horses and enjoyed going to the horse races. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Frederick George Adair Sr.
(October 11, 1949 - October 9, 2021)
Fred passed away at home on October 9, 2021 at the age of 71, with family by his side.
Predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Lillian Browne and his loving foster mother Sarah Adair.
Loving father to children Neil Adair (Kim), Carrie Serhan (Antoine), Paula Adair (Donnie), Fred Adair Jr. (Laurie) and Rob Adair (Nikki). Grandfather of 13 and Great Grandfather of 5.
Brother to Louise Buckland (Stan), Jeanne Rivers (Bill) and Allan Adair (Diane), along with nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by foster brother Reggie Adair and sister Lorraine McCraney (Neil). Fondly remembered by Alan Edwards.
Fred worked for The Toronto Sun for many many years!
In keeping with Fred’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. Interment will be held at St. James Cemetery at a later date.
Filomena Baldino
April 5th, 1944 - October 7th, 2021
Passed away peacefully on Thursday October 7th at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville in her 78th year.
Beloved wife of the late Pasquale Baldino.
Loving mother of Renato (Tanya), Oresto (Christina) and Enzo (Julie).
Adored Nana of Austin, Michelina, Tristan, Quinten, Codi, Shelby, Owen, Abby, Danica, and Arianna.
Great Nana to Joshua and Delilah.
She will be terribly missed by her siblings and her late husband’s family.
A big thank you to Dr. Vincent Ho, her palliative care doctor, and the wonderful team at the Bowmanville Hospital.
Filomena’s passion and joy was her family, and they will miss her every day.
Visitation will be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church, 3800 Courtice Road North, Courtice on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10am. Due to COVID19 restrictions, registration is required to attend the visitation and mass.

The loving husband and best friend of the late Lily Rose (2020), married 68 years.

His passion for the orchard and farming was evident in his dedicated, hardworking character.
Fred was a loving husband, excellent family provider, instilling a strong work ethic in his children and grandchildren.
He was known as Grandpa Apple to all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Frances will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, as well as her many co-workers at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Frances was a dedicated Phlebotomist at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for many years. She was also active with St. Gregory’s Catholic Church.
Frances, also known as ‘Mum’ to many, will be remembered for her kindness, giving spirit, sparkling smile and her sweet laugh.
She was the energizer bunny, always full of energy, a fierce warrior when she received her cancer diagnosis, and always had a kind word and smile for anyone who crossed her path.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital on Friday, September 3, 2021 in his 96th year.
Predeceased by his first wife Violet LeBlanc (nee Alder) also by his second wife Shirley LeBlanc (nee Lane).
Loving father of three sons Ronald, Eric (Yvonne) and the late Phillip (Michelle).
Survived by his grandsons Kevin and Joel as well as by his step-grandchildren Stephanie, Doug, Matthew, Britney and Clyde and his great granddaughter Zoe.
Brother of Obeline Villa, Albina Cook (the late Fred), Rita (Rod Craig), Frank (Pat), Andrew (the late Jean), Levi (Charlene) and the late Ben (the late Barb), Doris MacDonald (the late Ian) and Marceline (Lawrence Cook).
Will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

passed away peacefully beside his loving wife, Betty, of 70 years on Monday August 30th, 2021 at Glen Hill Terrace in Whitby.
Fred was four weeks shy of his 104th birthday.
Loving father of Jacob (Vanine) Feikema, Barbara (Pasquale) Gelsomino, Maria (Jim) Hicks and the late Ann Condie, and father in law of Trevor Condie.
Cherished grandfather of Jasmin, Cameron, Jason, Andrew, Patrick, James, Katelyn, Derek and Colin and great grandfather of Michael, Aubrie, Mya, Lucas, Carter, Adalynn and Penelope.
Predeceased by his siblings; Anna Moriconi, Marcus Feikema and Maaike Wageman.
