Flora Mae Shaw
It is with great sadness that the Shaw family shares of the passing of our beloved mother Flora Shaw who passed peacefully, on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Port Perry Place in Port Perry, at age 87.
Flora (nee Dunlop), beloved wife of the late Eldred Lee Shaw. Loving mother of Bob (Jean) of Victoria, B.C., Brenda Cavalier (Bob) of Nelson, B.C., Mark (Marion) of Port Perry, Kim (Deborah) of Victoria, B.C. and the late Brian.
Loved grandmother of Pam, Careyann, Julie, Steven, Shawn, Dianne, Patty, Kara, Jennessa, (Elesha), James, Jason, Stephanie, Robert, Jesse, Joel, Joshua, Matt, Chris, Cheryl, Andrew, Matt, Kayla and 38 great grandchildren.
Flora was well known in her community and for her love of photography. She will be greatly missed.
We wish to extend a special thank you to the many people in Port Perry who were a huge part in our mother’s day-to-day life including, but not limited to: Dr. Dayal, The Port Perry Place Nursing Home staff, all of the people at 61 Ash Street, Seniors Housing, especially Gerald & Verna Rowatt, and manager Debbie Tarbottom. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions private funeral arrangements have been made. Interment, Blackstock.

Frank “Franky” Iwanczyk
April 20th, 1962 - January 18th, 2021
Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 58.
Predeceased by his parents Mary and Kazimierz Iwanczyk, and nieces Kacie and Kallie Lussier.
Loving brother of Stella, Aggie (Larry), Ted (Angie), and Beverly.
Special uncle to Josh (Sabrina), Kristen (Dan), Cyndie (Derek), Allyssa (Brandon), Emilia, Dominik, and great-uncle to Rylie. Dear cousin of Kasia and Kazik.
Survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Loving family member to the Community Living Oshawa Clarington.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
Registration is required as space is very limited. Private prayers will be held at 8 p.m., friends and family are welcome to watch the webcast at armstrongfh.ca.
A Private Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

July 7, 1920 - January 7, 2021Flora was the loving Mother of Ron, Carol, Helen and Tom. Grandmother of Karen, David, Judy, Brian, Shelly and Russell and Great-Grandmother of Kelly, Ciara, Kylie, Shannon, Michael, Mara, William and Andrew.She remained cheerful and engaged right up until her final days and will surely be missed by everyone who knew her.

Kidman and Stephen (Sharon) Bruneau.Loved grandmother of Shirley M. Franco “Frank” Fontana

July 1, 1934 - December 25, 2020In loving memory, we mourn the passing of Frank (Francis) Thomas O’Neill in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Betty Eleanor Marie O’Neill (nee Hubbert) of 64 years. Loving father of Eleanor Meredith, Kevin (Dawn), Scott (Angel), and Marion French (Greg). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Angela (Jordan), Eleanor (John), Katie (David), Gordon, Julie (Tyson), James, Kyle, Kristen (Conner), Matthew and Lucas. Great-grandfather of nine great grandchildren. He is predeceased by parents Thomas and Marion O’Neill of Virginia ON, eldest brother of Hugh (Susan), both predeceased, Evelyn Wilkinson (Jim predeceased), Myrtle McNeil (Don predeceased), Charles (Helen), and Clare (predeceased), and survived by Linda McCartney-Rueckwald. Frank was born in Sutton, raised in Virginia ON, he then moved to Oshawa where he began what would become a forty-year career with the City of Oshawa Works Department. By moving to the outskirts of Brooklin ON in 1973, he built his farm, thus living his passion, just as his father, and raised his family. Passed away peacefully at home on December 19, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones.Beloved husband of Monina Lim-Serrano.Loving father of Marlie Michele Serrano, Mary Madeleine Serrano-Hruby (Roman) and Maria Monina Serrano, Jra.Predeceased by his daughter Marie Margrethe Serrano. Adored Papa of Monica Francesca Serrano- Hruby and Morgen Margherita Lim-Serrano.Dear son of Juan Mone Serrano and Honesima Agnis, brother of Jose Serrano (Salvacion), Ofelia Serrano, Milagros Arce (Raul), Pablo Serrano (Myrna), and predeceased by his brother Antonio Serrano (Corazon)Prior to coming to Canada, Franklin owned a transportation business consisting of a fleet of buses, taxis, and jeepneys. His entrepreneurial spirit continued in Canada where he owned a gasoline station, an automotive repair shop and an emission testing facility.Franklin had simple taste and wanted only one thing in life – to provide for his family and to be surrounded with the love and respect of his family and friends.
