It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the sudden and graceful passing of Patricia Boyd on Dec. 19th at home in Fairview Lodge, Whitby, Ontario.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Stephanie Boyd (Miguel Araoz Cartagena), Katie Boyd (Joseph Donaldson) and grandchildren Akasha Donaldson-Boyd and Evan Donaldson-Boyd.
And she will be missed by a web of friends and family that reached the West Coast of Canada and the southern Andes in Peru.
Pat was 84 years old and loved a good book, stimulating conversation, adventure and mysteries. She will be fondly remembered for her wit and courage when standing up to injustices.
Daughter of the late Olive (nee Lancaster) and Peter Wiggins. Beloved wife to the late Harold Allen “Al” Boyd.

Memorial events will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home in Oshawa. Visitation from 5- 8 pm on Wednesday, December 28th. Funeral on Thursday Dec. 29th at 11 am with viewing available from 10 am and a light lunch served after the service.

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden death of Paul Edward Nottingham on Saturday, December 17, 2022 as the result of an accident.
Paul was born on January 10, 1956 to the late Roy and Doris Nottingham. He was raised on the family farm in Raglan, Ontario where he developed a lifelong love of farming.
Paul is survived by his children Sarah (Adam Zaretsky), Aaron, J.R. (Kelly) and Gerald (Martina), his 5 grandchildren Carter, Ethan, Hunter, Asher and Adelaide and his siblings Jack (Karel), Gary (Sabena), Ken (Barb), Ralph (Diane), Nancy (Roger), Rob (Donna). Uncle Paul will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Paul will be remembered for his years of loyalty and farm work alongside his father and on his own farm.
He worked many years driving large transport trucks all over Canada and USA. F
or those who knew Paul, we can attest to him having a story or two from each trip. He generally loved meeting and being amongst people.
It never took long for a gathering to become energized when Paul entered, be it a restaurant, doctor's office or a family get together.
Paul was always able to inject some joy and liveliness into the occasion.
The family of Paul Nottingham will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry, on Tuesday, January 3rd from 2 – 4 p.m.
Passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on December 13th, 2022 at the age of 76 years.

Patrick Ricardo DeMattos lived and died on his own terms.
He even wrote his parting words: “Big man had to go. He left no return address and said goodbye to his loving family, who sent him off with blood pudding and pone.”
That was Patrick, a warrior, who battled to the end, playing dominos and telling jokes.
He will be greatly missed by his wife and friend Helen, his son Sean, daughter Lesley, DIL Melissa, SIL David, and his grandchildren, Jaiden, Jet, and Bo.
Patrick touched many lives, and leaves behind a legacy of generosity, smiles, laughter, and love. RIP, Poppa.

God called Petar Novakovic peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the age of 69.
He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Nevena.
Cherished by his dear children Sinisha (Maria) Novakovic and Ljubisha (Elena) Novakovic.
Adoring and extremely proud Dedo to Nina, Izabella, Petar Jr. and Julian.
He is now reunited with his parents, Ljuban and Danica and also with his brother, Mićo.
He is also reunited with his father-in-law, Vlado Sprikoski and mother-in-law, Todorka Spirkoski.
Survived by his brother-in-law, Peco Spirkoski and Jovan Shalvarov and sister-in-law, Paca Spirkoski and Ljiliana Shalvarov.
Beloved uncle to Miki Shalvarov, Sonja (Bill Asprovski), Villiam Spirkoski (Nicole), Vlatko Spirkoski (Susie) and Dejan Novakovic.
Petar especially loved the sports of Futbol (Soccer) and Tennis and exhibited and taught his knowledge to his children and grandkids.

It with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend Paul Robinson Donnelly on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
Paul will be dearly missed by his loving wife Jean of 68 years.
Pre-deceased by his mother Nellie (1992), father Sandford (1968), and brother Clair (2021).
Paul is survived by his brother Gordon Donnelly.
Devoted father to his 4 children; Michael (predeceased 2018) (survived by Diane), Judy (Dave), Lynn (John), and Terri (predeceased 2016).
Loving grandfather "Poppy" to Matthew, Mark, Sean and Kelly (Michael), Sarah and Lisa (Judy), Becky and Michael (Lynn), and Joshua (Terri).
As youngsters, the grandchildren will fondly remember that "Poppy" always had a loonie in his pocket for them. He loved seeing the smiles and anticipation on their faces as they waited to receive their treasure each and every time they came to visit.
Poppy was also blessed with 16 great-grand children.
Paul was born in Oshawa, Ontario on August 19, 1936. In 1952, at the age of 16, he joined the "Boys Line" at General Motors, Oshawa and retired in 1986 with 34 years seniority.
He was a hard-working man whose priority in life was to care and provide for his family. He was always there to lend a helping hand, a much needed piece of advice, or simply an ear to bend.
He was a true gentleman to all who knew him. Family meant everything to Paul.

Cremation and a private family gathering was held on November 13, 2022.

Of Oshawa, Ontario, breathed her last on November 13, 2022 in her 96th year after a very short illness, and only a few days after celebrating her birthday with friends and family.
Pauline Jean Bennett was born in London, England and met the love of her life, Ivan Ellis during WWII when they both served their country.
Pauline worked in the Woolwich Arsenal while Ivan served England in the Merchant Navy.
They married in 1946 shortly after WWII ended.
They emigrated in 1953 to build a wonderful life in Canada for their six children, Jean, Christine, Janet (Les), Pauline (Bob), John and Robert.
For the past seven years after losing her husband of 69 years, she has lived a full life in her own apartment in Oshawa, with frequent visits from her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mom will be sorely missed by the family she has left behind.
Her loving children will cherish memories of a wonderful life in Canada that Mom and Dad made possible. Grandma will also be sorely missed by her adoring grandchildren, Michelle (Fred), Samantha (Neil), Adam (Erin), Daniel (Lex), Andrew (Jenny) and Rebecca, as well as her great-grandchildren, Charity, Aiden, Nathaniel, Sloan, Benjamin, Cooper and Nolan.
Grandma was always so much fun, and she got the nickname “Bake Grandma”. She will also be missed by her dearly beloved budgie, Timmy.
Friends and family are invited to gather at Morris Funeral Chapel for a service on Friday November 18th at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army, an organization that Pauline has long supported.
