Passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday January 7, 2018, at Reach View Nursing Home in Uxbridge at the age of 90.Beloved Wife of Blake Noel Walls, Of Oshawa.Irene was Born May 18th 1927, In New Glasgow Nova Scotia.She was The daughter of William and Lily Dean.Irene was a devoted wife to her adoring husband Blake for 72 years.She travelled to Oshawa as a young war bride where she lovingly raised her three children. She worked at Eaton’s when it first opened at the Oshawa Shopping Centre. She loved housekeeping and worked in this capacity in a private home where she was also a companion and friend to her employer. She loved to laugh and have fun, enjoying the simple pleasures in life.She will be very sadly missed by her loving children, Pat (George Ashby), Mike (Yvonne), Chris (Sandy), Grandchildren Kevin (Michelle), Bryan (Suzanne), Jennifer (Matt), Jacqueline (Martin), Scott.Great Grandchildren, Adam, Robyn, Ethan, Sierra, Claire, Seth, Jack, Ben, Sam, and Will. Predeceased by her brothers, Charlie, Colin, Reg and Sisters Maine and Edna. Visitation will take place at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Rd.
