It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Mary Isabella Younie (nee Bryson).

She passed peacefully in the presence of family in Lakeridge Health Hospital Ajax, at the blessed age of 94.

Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Roy Younie and her siblings.

Mary leaves behind their 3 children, daughter Barbara McNutt, her husband Brad, son John Younie, his wife Donalda and their youngest daughter Ann Younie. Also, left behind are their grandchildren Aaron McNutt (Jota), Jodi Clark (James), Chris McNutt (Brittany), Christine Wolchok (Ian), Elesia Maves (Jonathan) and Kimberly Younie.

As well as her great grandchildren Lillian McNutt, Logan McNutt, Howie Wolchok, Noah Clark and Moriah Maves.

She spent much of her career caring for others as a nurse at Barrie Memorial in Ormstown, Quebec and ended her impressionable career at the Whitby Jail.

Her time as an active member at St. Paul’s United church in Ajax, helping with blood pressure clinics and so much more will be remembered.

Mary loved many and was loved by many, from the friends in her Condo, to her friends from church, but especially by her family.

Mary left us with wisdom and memories we will never forget, her strength was enough for all of us. The family will grieve our great loss, but celebrate the wonderful person she was and taught us how to become.

Visitation will be Monday Jan 1st 2024 from 12 pm to1 pm. Followed by a service of remembrance starting at 1 pm, held at McEachnie Funeral Home 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village, Ajax, ON. All who knew and loved Mary are welcome to join.

In Lieu of Flowers you may send a gift of memorandum on her behalf to Lakeridge Health or Heart & Stroke foundation.

We regret to announce the passing of Maria Romanenko Chemeris on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, with family by her side.

Maria was born in January 1937 in Donetsk, Ukraine.

She immigrated to Canada in 1976, where she met her late husband of over 30 years, Wasil Chemeris.

Maria was extremely talented in producing many beautiful works of art with her detailed needlework pieces and custom clothing.

She often hosted guests in her home and enjoyed working in her garden.

Maria will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village, on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, a burial will be held at Erskine Cemetery.

Beloved husband of Bonnie (nee Maurer). Loving father of Cindy and Kevin.

Max will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and many friends.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Marion Violet Rawn, age 83, of Oshawa, Ontario, on December 16, 2023.

She was born to Mary (Edwards) and Reginald (Nash) on March 5, 1940, in Scarborough, Ontario.

Marion (Nash) and her devoted husband, Alexander Rawn (predeceased), shared a lifetime of love since their marriage on June 7, 1958, in Scarborough, Ontario, before his passing in 2003.

Together, they nurtured and guided their five children: Derrick Alexander, Warren Joseph (predeceased), Barbara Lynn (predeceased), Sandra Marie, and Karen Louise; Joan Rawn (Paterson), wife of Warren Joseph is considered a daughter of Marion and despite Joe’s death, Joan continues to be an important member of the Rawn siblings.

Marion's legacy lives on through the strong bonds she cultivated with her eight grandchildren, Randi Nicole (Rawn-Hartley), Chase William (Richards), Jesse (Nisula), Kimberly Lynn (Rawn), Kyle (Nisula), Joseph Alexander (Rawn), Adam (Nisula), Kassandra Georgie-Marie (Smalley), and five great-grandchildren, Troy Alexander-Steven (Burns), Travis William-Randolph (Burns), Owen Alexander (Rawn), Madelyn Kate (Munro), and Brayden Wayne (Munro), who will continue to cherish the memories she left behind.

As she finds eternal peace, Marion reunites with her loving husband, Alex, and her children, Joe and Barb. The fond memories of her love and the cherished times we shared will be forever etched into our hearts.

Arrangements with Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Avenue, Ajax, Ontario. The visitation and service will occur on Friday, January 5, 2024; visitation will begin at 12:00 pm, followed by the service in the Chapel at 1:00 pm. Cremation .

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Sutton (nee West) on December 15, 2023, at the age of 77, after a brief battle with cancer.

Wife of Terry Sutton; and mother of Sharon Runnalls (Steven), Tamara Sutton (Jordan Kotick), and Robyn Sutton. Most cherished Gramma of Elizabeth and Emma Runnalls.

Predeceased by parents, James and Georgina (Jean) West. Margaret was the best friend and most beloved sister to Robert West (Barb 2014).

A lifelong resident of Richmond Hill, Terry and Margaret recently moved to Uxbridge, where they enjoyed meeting new neighbours and having family close by.

She will be missed immensely. The family will have a private interment at a later date. Margaret was an incredibly generous woman, supporting an array of charities and believing that one's good fortune should be shared for the betterment of all.

Therefore, in lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to The Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill, or York Region SPCA.

Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Rose (nee Stewart); and devoted children: Lynn (Peter), Scott, Glen, and Grant (Tracy); as well as adoring grandchildren: Michael (Tamar), Elizabeth, Aidan, and Riley.

He lived his life with compassion for others, unwavering strength for his family and the ability to brighten your darkest day through his wit and an infectious smile.
