Passed away on Sunday, January 24th, 2021 at the age of 73.
Survived by his wife Mary (Nee Sinclair).
Loving father of Samantha Goodyear (Deon), and Catriona McCallum.
Stepfather of Kenneth, Kirsty, and Ailsa.
Dear brother of James McCallum, Irene Burns, and Isa Meighan, and predeceased by his sister Betty Blue.
Will be missed by his many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Harry had a passion for music, books, and science. He loved to share these interests with his family and friends.
Harry came to Canada from Glasgow, Scotland in 1971 and worked for many years as an engineer before retiring. In his spare time he loved to play the guitar.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPELL 1587 HIGHWAY #2 (905-432-8484).

Entered into rest in her 102nd year at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre on Thursday, January 14, 2021, following a brief illness.
Helen Kerr (nee Greer), beloved wife of the late Alexander Kerr. Loving mother of the late Robert Kerr and his wife Kathryn, Sandra Cyr and her husband Louis, and Sheila Reagan and her husband Michael.
Dear grandmother to Bradley, Sarah, Joy, Heather, Colleen and Alexis. Great-grandmother of six and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions, attendance at the Visitation, Funeral Service and the Cemetery is private by invitation only through the Family.
For those not attending, you may participate by viewing Mrs. Kerr’s funeral service as it is livestreamed from the McEachnie Funeral Home Chapel, Ajax, Ontario, on Tuesday January 26th at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will be held on Wednesday January 27th at 1:00 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church Cemetery in Watford, Ontario.

(October 7th, 1931 - January 13th, 2021)Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Copernicus Lodge, in her 90th year.Predeceased by her beloved husband Jozef.Dear aunt of Piotr (Barbara) Kita, Andrzej (Danuta) Kita, Sr. Anna Kita, Helena (Zbigniew) Mitoraj, the late Marek (Zofia) Kita and Irene (Robert) Henderson and many other extended family members. Helena will be sadly missed by her great niece Monika (Richard) Romanczyk and their daughters Veronika and Izabelle, her great nephews Pawel and Adam Kita, and by her friends Danuta Kalabis, Marysia Kudyba, Stenia Oleszkiewicz, Emilia Mysliwiec and Teresa Fajfer. Helena emigrated to New Zealand in 1959, where she met and married Jozef. In 1969, they moved to Canada to be closer to Jozef’s brother Walter and his family. Helena visited her family in Poland many times and often hosted them here as visitors in Canada. She helped Piotr and Monika establish their lives in Canada.She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her friends and family.She valued her Polish heritage and continued to support her family and friends in Poland for as long as she could.Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).Space is limited and registration for visitation is mandatory. Passed away in the home that he built in Bolsover in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 3rd, 2021.Harv was husband and best friend to Beth, father to Paul (Calgary), and was well known to many in and around Beaverton.He was a hard worker, a contractor and skilled craftsman in the Beaverton area who honed his skills over his lifetime.He also served his community as a former Boy Scout leader and a dedicated member of the Beaverton Lions Club.He was predeceased by his sister Francis (Robert) McGee. He has shared in events in recent years with the families of his brother, Roger and Sherry Spence (Cannington) and sister, Gertrude (George-deceased) Elliott, (Mount Albert) and he cherished his nieces and nephews who in turn loved him for his smile, sense of humour and his willingness to lend a hand.Harv will be sadly missed by many friends but the positive memories will never be forgotten.A celebration of Harvey’s life will take place at a later date.If so desired, donations in memory of Harvey to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

April 30th, 1920 -December 18th, 2020Born in Cornwall, ON to Thomas and Etta (Lagden) Collins, passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 18, 2020 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after being ill at home for two days. Predeceased by her husband Burton (1988), her siblings Gordon, Edward, Lloyd, Albert, Grace and Gladys, her daughter Joyce (2013) and son in law Angus (2016). Lovingly remembered by her son Wayne (Elsie), grandchildren Mark, John (predeceased) (Lori), Heather (Amanda), Karen (Chad), Nicholas (Bridget), Kristen (Christophe), great grandchildren, Deanna (Nigel), Shelbi, Hayden, Hudson, Georgia, and great great grandchildren Ella-Grace and Kinsley. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, especially Judy, Brian, Terry and their families. Hazel will be remembered by her large extended family and friends from Kingston, Ontario. The community at Parkview Place and friends at the OSC John Street, Oshawa. Due to the pandemic a drive-by was held to celebrate her 100th birthday which was captured on National Television.She enjoyed the video and seeing best wishes from family and friends. Hazel cherished reminiscing about bowling, secretarial duties at KD Manufacturing, and spending time with family and friends. Hazel spent many hours playing bingo, cribbage and walking with those she loved. Her family will cherish the many items she knit and crochet over the years.
