Passed away in Oshawa on Friday August 25th, 2023 at the age of 94.
Predeceased by her best friend Stig Strombom.
Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Catherine Plouffe brothers Amos and Bernard and her sisters Kay and Theresa.
She will be remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families.
Margaret will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully at Oak Ridges Hospice surrounded by her family on Thursday August 24th, 2023 in her 57th year.
Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Isabella Webster.
Much loved mother of Michael (Jessika) and Katie. Partner of Richard. Proud Nana to Ethan, Kolten and Konnor.
Dear sister of the late Carol, Heather (Rob), Vicky and Nancy.
Marion will be greatly missed by many nephews, nieces and extended family.
Our family would like to send our sincere thank you to the Palliative care team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for giving Marion the best possible care, as well as Oak Ridges Hospice center in Port Perry for welcoming Marion and their incredible care and compassion.

As per Marion’s wishes, a cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
Passed away Sunday, August 20th, 2023 at her home.
She leaves to mourn husband Albert Adolphus Phillip, and her children Desi Peters (Dexter), Nikki Gonzales (Miguel) and Jason Kevin Phillip (Kathern); and numerous grandchildren Cameron, Channel, Quinton, Chayton, Mylan, Jaylen, Syone, Jewel and Camson.
Leaving Trinidad to better her life and education she would meet her love and they would marry in 1973.
She worked for the Ministry of Natural Resources for numerous years.
The Church and Faith in Jesus has always been a part of Margaret.
Margaret will join her parents Ella & Godfrey and also her sister Cynthia and brother Mac.
Visitation will be held at the Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. A Reception will follow at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Mary Helene Murdoch, known affectionately to all as Helene, died peacefully on August 18, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
She was surrounded by her adoring family.
After years of unwavering strength and courage, Helene has now found her well-served peace and will join her loving husband, Daniel Murdoch.
Helene is survived by her son John (wife Dorothy) and daughter Andrea (husband Greg). She is the much-loved grandmother of Leigh, Daniel (wife Rosa), Neil, Aaron and Sarah.
Daughter of John and Florence Murphy, Helene was predeceased by her sisters Mary Barbara and Sheila (husband Martin).
After her family, Helene’s had two loves in her life: her deep faith in her Catholic beliefs and baseball. Her devotion to her faith was not only a personal commitment, but a guiding light that illuminated the lives of those around her through the support and caring she offered to all who crossed her path.
Everyone who met her will fondly recall her listening to or watching baseball – first the Expos and later the Jays.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in her honour at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 214 Simcoe St. N. Oshawa on Friday August 25th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow mass and will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. W. Oshawa.

Grandfather of Nesreen and Daniella Andarous, Marena, Monica and Monda Shokri.
Funeral Services will be held at St Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral (455 Ferrier St, Markham, ON L3R 5Z2) on Wednesday August 16th, 2023 at 12 noon.
Passed away at 73 years of age on August 8th, 2023, after persevering a severe stroke in May.
Beloved husband of Karen Maria for 37 years.
Caring brother to Paul (Stephanie), Tom, Rick, Mary (Danny) and Carolyn, brother-in-law to Frank (Maria), Jane (Jim) and John (Sheila) and will be lovingly remembered by all his nieces and nephews.

Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Glen Hill Terrace, Whitby, at the age of 93.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Evelyen (2005) and his grandson Bradley (1997).
Loving father of Garry (Kery-Ann), Jayne Hill (Ian), and Sally Noordman (Paul).
Devoted grandfather of April (Joey), Byron (Kim), Corey, Bob (Lee-Andrea), Tammy, and Jessica (Andrew) and great-grandfather of Kyle, Kaitlyn, Jackson, Blake, Easton, and Nash.
Maurice loved all his grandchildren & great-grandchildren and kept up with all their interests and activities right until the end.
Dear brother of Bill, Harry (Marg), Shirley, Jack (Barb), and Linda (Doug) and brother-in-law of Lynn, Marion, Eva (Gus), Carol, and Ruby. Predeceased by siblings Barb (George), Don (Betty), Phil, and Ken and brothers-in-law Brian, Bob, and Howard.
Maurice retired from General Motors after 46.5 dedicated years. He continued to spend time with his retired colleagues, playing pool at the Union Hall.
Maurice loved to play baseball and was an excellent pitcher. He was an avid baseball and hockey fan and loved hunting and fishing in his earlier years.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 12 – 2 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
