Evana Marie Graham

On Wednesday August 4th, Tetley Tea’s stock price fell sharply on the news of Evana Graham’s passing.
A lover of a good strong cup of tea and a carry on.
Evana was born to the late Zenon and Alice Boudreau (nee Roi) in Petit Rocher, NB. She grew up in Minto, NB.
Her adventures led her to Oshawa where she met her loving husband Ronald (Scott) C. Graham and married in 1971.
There they raised their two children.
A loving mother and hard worker, Evana was known as the “Lucky Lady”.
She enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, especially over the holidays.
Evana is predeceased by her beloved husband Scott of 42 years.
Loving mother of Kyle, and Vanessa Laurie (Paul).
Cherished grandmother of Gillian. Survived by her sister Alser, Brenda, and brother Donny (Ruthy). Dear sister to the late Bernard, Gilbert, Martin, and Kay.
Family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her at Fairview Lodge, Yorkshire Place.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday August 15th at 2pm, with visiting from 1pm at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E., Oshawa.

Elwood Pattenden

Passed away peacefully at the Reach View Village, Uxbridge on Monday, August 2, 2021.
Elwood, at the age of 82, was the beloved husband of Audrey, for 59 years.
Loving father of Debbie Messam and Murray (Mandy) Pattenden.
Cherished grandfather of Melissa (Darren), Adam and Nolan; he was the great-grandfather of Keyra, Ayden and Alex.
Elwood is survived by his brother Howard Pattenden and sister Mary Bailey; he will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family.
Private family arrangements held in Uxbridge.

Emily (Blain) Greenwood

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia, ON in her 100th year.
Emily, dearly beloved wife of John for 64 years, until his passing in 2004.
Loving daughter of William and Catherine Blain (Savage).
She outlived all her siblings and their spouses; Jim (Marion), Jean (Ross), Ted, and Roy (Marlene).
Loving mother to Leonard of Beaverton, Bob (Sandy) of Trenton and Sandra Carson of Sundre, AB.
Dear grandma of 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, who were definitely her greatest source of joy.
She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
After the passing of John, she moved in with Leonard where she was happy, content and well cared for until her passing. She kept busy with new friends playing cards and bingo.
Sometimes she would proudly come home with a huge win of maybe $3.
Doing puzzles was also a great pastime she enjoyed.
Cremation has taken place and at the family’s request, there will be a private interment and a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Eufemia Daniela ‘Fame’ Risorto

Peacefully with family at her side on Friday July 30, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 57th year.
Fame, beloved wife for 39 years of Giovanni Risorto.
Much loved mother of Jonathan Risorto and his wife Kristen, and Marco Risorto. Proud Nonna of Angelina Fame Risorto.
Much loved daughter of Stefano and Antonietta Calderone.
Dear sister of Mary D’Addario (Joe). Loved aunt of Stefano, Adam and Emily D’Addario.
Fame will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her family, and many dear friends.
Fame was dedicated to her career in Capital Budgeting and Financial Planning for the Durham District School Board and previously for the Durham Catholic District School Board.

Edward Patrick Flanagan

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Edward "Ed" Flanagan.
He passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Michael Garron Hospital.
Devoted husband to his wife Jean of 69 years He was the wonderful brother of Eileen Couch (Ted), Maurice (Denise) and Frank (Ann).
Edward is predeceased by his parents Hazel Kerr and Edward Flanagan.
Ed raised and loved his seven children; Marguerite (Glenn), Johann (Paul), Terry (Carol), John (Judy), Barbara (Real), Ralph (Grace) and Robert.
Edward loved and was very proud of his 12 grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He will be fondly remembered for his lovely artwork, his chess playing, his construction and electrical expertise, golf and his love for the ponderosa, Jean and Ed's 50 acre property near Pontypool were a host to many memorable family gatherings. Edward will be missed by many.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Ina Grafton Gage Home who cared so well for him these last few months.

Beloved wife of Ron and devoted, loving mother of Dean (Mitch), Dan (Betty), Darryl (Val), and Darrin (Julie). Cherished grandmother of Jason (Dawn), Amanda (Andrew), Jessica (Terry), Cam (Sara), Jeff, Kaleb and Keira. Great grandmother of Serenity, Linkin, Jhett and Leland.
Loving sister of Dolores, Sylvia and Ruth.
Elaine will be fondly remembered by her extended family and her many friends.

She will be missed by her loving husband of 28 years Ronald Sullivan.

She had a great love for everything music and playing the piano.

Passed away peacefully at Sunnycrest Nursing Home, on Saturday July 24, 2021, at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Edward Wilband.
Loving mum of Stephen (Danny), Wendy (Wayne), Glenda (Arthur), Paula (Neil), Brent, and the late Blake.
Cherished nanny of Tiffany, Alisha, Keith and Spencer, as well as great-grandmother of Nadim & Aaliyah.
Dear sister of Don Colwell (Bev) and aunt of Melissa.
Betty was a long-time resident of Faith Place where the staff was nothing but compassionate.
She spent the last 4 years at Sunnycrest Nursing Home and Betty’s family would like to send a special thank-you to the staff, for all the loving care and attention they have shown during her stay.
As per Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service held at a later date.
