Loving wife to Ahmed (Eddie) for 51 years. Devoted mother of James and Jana (Tom).
herished Baba to Lola and Ella. Margaret lived a good long life and was happiest when she was surrounded by her family.

Marianne Arsenault

Marianne passed away peacefully with family by her side, after a 3 year battle with cancer on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the age of 73 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Anne Kyle; brother Grant Kyle and her sister Georgina Quinn.
Marianne will be lovingly remembered by her husband Val; sons Kyle (Pam) Arsenault and Kevin (Erin) Arsenault; her six grandchildren Felicity, Julia, Kaden, Amelia, Liam and Ethan, as well as her brother-in-law Ron, nieces and their families.
Marianne was a commercial artist by trade but a stay at home mother by choice as her greatest love were her boys and family.
She enjoyed painting, gardening, baking and spending time with her dogs.
At Marianne’s request a private family service will be held at a later date.

Loving mother of Bob (Karin) and Stanley (Mary).
Cherished grandmother of Paul (Laura), Andrea (Shannon), Melissa (Alan), and Adrian (Jenna) and great-grandmother of Mikayla, Evrett, Eva, Vivian, Stanley, Kyra, Gordon, Gracie, and Riley.
Dear sister of Joseph (Ann).
Predeceased by her siblings Bea, Anne, Rita, Fred, and Maurice.
Marie will be fondly remembered by Shannon, and her many nieces, nephews, and friends at Marion Place.
Special thanks to the staff of Extendicare Port Hope for their care and compassion.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 5-9 p.m. with Prayers at 7 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the People Catholic Church. Urn burial to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Age 93, of Oshawa, Ontario passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Jose.
Loving mother of Maria Antaya, Maria Varela, Frank Varela, Manuela Grossman, and Jose Varela.
Lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice from 9:30 to 10:00 am on Friday July 7th.
Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, 690 King St. E. Oshawa at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.

Madeline Mary Cowley

Passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side at her residence at St George Care Community in Toronto on June 29, 2023 at the age of 100.
Predeceased by her husband Norman Edward Cowley, son Stephen and daughters Linda and Deborah.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Frank Fournier, nieces Cathy Reeves (Wayne) and Cyndy Fournier (Reece), great niece Aidan Fournier and great nephew Connor Reeves and her extended family and many friends.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date.
Marie Rose Ruddell

With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Rose Ruddell at the age of 87.
Beloved wife to Michael for 50 years.
Cherished mother to Terry (Lynn), Tracy, Kevin (predeceased), Peter (predeceased), and Ian (predeceased).
Loving nannie to Chantina (Eric), Telisha (David), Adam (Oda), Lucas, Joshua (Michelle), Justin, Natasha (Kyle), and Levi (Dylann). Loving great nannie to Logan, Silas, Foster, Jayla, Ivy, Ruben, Brooks and Beckham.
Rose was born in New Brunswick in a family of 20 children. At 17 she moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick and worked in the polio clinic tending to many children. She moved to Toronto in the 1960’s before moving to Markham and later to Oshawa.
Rose was a woman of many talents.
A woman of very strong convictions she dearly loved her family and will forever be remembered.
A wonderful life well lived.
Friends may call at the Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road (north of Dundas St. E.) on Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 12 – 2 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.
Cremation has already taken place with a family interment service to take place later this fall.

In the early morning of Sunday June 25th, 2023, Margaret peacefully took her journey back home surrounded by her children, at Oak Ridges Hospice.
Margaret was connected by heart and soul to her weans, Louise (Matt), Lisa (Tim), Daniel, and Meagan, as well as bonus daughters Amanda and Kerry.
Margaret was Number One Nana to Diana, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Emma, Zachary, Morgan, Shaylah, Keira, Noah, and Allison.
Margaret was born in Glasgow, Scotland, to Ellen and Joseph Graham on February 20th, 1952.
After losing her father Joseph, at a young age, Margaret was raised and cared for by her loving mother and second husband, Danny McArdle. Margaret was a sister to Joseph, Robert, Mary, Theresa, Anthony, and Ellen.
She will be forever treasured and missed deeply by her loving family.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Oak Ridges Hospice for the comfort, care, empathy and professionalism shown to Margaret and her family.
Pure Magic. A graveside service will be held at THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 1 pm.

Jackie had twelve great grandchildren, Anthony, Luca, Leo, Holly, Keith, Steven, Johnston, James, Noah, Olivia, Evan, and Ayda.
Jackie is predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Arthur Little and her sister Alverna (Jake). Jackie will be missed by her brother Ronnie (Paula) and many nephews and nieces and friends long time friends Adele and Doug.
Jackie volunteered her time to the Royal Canadian Legion and was a member of Ladies Auxiliary.
A special thank you to all the PSW’s and Nurses at Reachview Village for taking good care of our mother.
At this time cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday July 4th from 1:00 to 4:00 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 170, 109 Franklin Street, Uxbridge.
