Passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 74.
Beloved husband of Charlotte (nee Miller).
Loving father of Andrew Campbell (Lisa) and Wendy Serne (Ken).
Dear grandfather of Ethan, Kyle, Amelia, Julia, and Mackenzie.
Survived by his siblings Lindsay (Lori) Jordan of Sudbury, ON, Myles (Judy) Jordan of Picadilly, NB, Margaret (Eric) Best of Morristown, NS, and Lillian (Skip) Huntley of Kentville, NS.
Predeceased by his parents Archibald and Mildred Jordan of Morristown, NS, his brother Henry Jordan of Waterville, NS, and his sisters Mary Dennis of Waterloo, ON and Rochelle Gray of Englehart, ON.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. All attendees must be double vaccinated and will be required to show proof of vaccination and identification. Masks are mandatory. Registration for contact tracing is required.

Garry Graham Clyde Martin
July 1, 1943 - November 9, 2021
Garry Martin, age 78, passed away peacefully at Ed’s Hospice in Cobourg on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 with his wife and daughter by his side.
Garry will be lovingly remembered by Marjorie, his wife of 55 years, daughter, Tracy (Sean), son, Graham (Carlos), grandchildren, Emily, Sarah and Maddy, sister, June (Brad), brother, Keith (Rita) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Born on July 1, 1943 in Hickman’s Harbour, NL, Garry always felt that there was no place like home on “the Rock”.
Although his life journey took him to Ontario where he married Marjorie, and raised his family, his heart was deeply rooted in Hickman’s Harbour.
Upon retiring, after a lengthy career with the City of Toronto, Garry and Marjorie returned to Newfoundland for several months each year where he felt truly at peace.
There, where he could sit on his deck and look out over the water, he found contentment, peace and happiness.

April 4, 1952 – November 2, 2021
Passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, at the age of 69.
Loving father of Teresa (James Nicholls) and Giovanni.
Dear brother of Giovanni “Saro”. Cherished Nonno of Talia, Ronin, Amelia and Nova.
Predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Maria Teresa Benincasa.
Will be missed by his aunt Esterina and her family, and all the family and friends in Canada and Italy. Jim will be remembered for his kindness and his generous and tenacious spirit.

George Andrew Davey

Our loving father George Davey passed away peacefully on November 7th, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family.
George was born on March 6, 1938 to Mary and Herbert Elgin Davey in Brampton Ontario.
George will be dearly missed by his entire family.

Loving father of Jeffery Davey (Cathy),Suzanne Gray (David) Step Father of Craig (Sue)and Debbie (Phil). Grandfather to Brent (Cassandra), Glen (Niki), Terri- Ann (Jamie), Janaye (Katie), Kevin (Jordan) and Leyden.
Extended family Cameron, Ethan, Ashley, Kristine, Jeremy, David, Lisa and Sara. Great grandfather to Lucas, Jack, George, Brooklin, Ryan, William, Everly, Ella and Olivia.
George loved his grandchildren and especially loved to follow their sports. He was incredibly proud of all of them.

George spent his career in the car industry. His tenure in the business included being the GM at Dean Myers Chevrolet Oldsmobile prior to purchasing his own GM dealership in Ajax, George Davey Chevrolet Oldsmobile.
His remarkable passion is what led to his success in the industry and he passed his knowledge down two generations to date. When his son took over the family business, George was never able to fully settle into retirement and continued to work leasing and selling used vehicles through Davey Enterprises.
George enjoyed following the Toronto Maple Leafs, and had a passion for all sports. When his son Jeff was young, he enjoyed coaching him in the MTHL for the Royal York Rangers where he made many lasting friendships.
George was also passionate about racing and breeding standardbred horses. George also had a love for dogs.
In the early 80’s he enjoyed the farm in Kendal. He enjoyed travelling with his wife Mary in their motor home and spent many years in Florida where they dodged the cold winters.
George continued to teach his family valuable lessons until the day he passed.
We put a few words together to best describe.
“George was passionate about everything he did. He always did things the right way. He never had an opinion, but would rather listen. George never judged. He had a knack for making people feel welcome and cared about.”

On Sunday, October 24, 2021, in his 92nd year, Gino lost his battle.
Beloved husband to the late Wilma (Betty).

Great grandfather to Breanna, Ethan, Leland, Myracle and the little one, Mya.
Survived by his 5 remaining siblings and extended family and friends.

Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on October 31st, 2021, at the age of 75.
Loving husband of the late Isla for 54 years.
Cherished father of Gavin (Michelle) and Alistair (Sendi).
Adored grandfather of Ethan and Rowan. He will be fondly remembered by family, lifelong friends, former staff colleagues and students.
George will be best remembered for his courage, kindness, empathy, and love of family and friends.
The family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff of Hillsdale Estates, and to the medical team of Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the care and professionalism shown to George.

Gladys Eleanor Peech
(June 6, 1934 – October 31, 2021)
It is with profound sadness that the family of Gladys Eleanor Peech announces her peaceful passing on October 31, 2021.
Lovingly held close by her husband, John Richard Peech, and her four children, Michael (Jennifer), Jamie, Greg (Trisha), and Celine (Stephen), Gladys ended her almost ten-year battle with Alzheimer's.
Gladys was born in Montreal, raised in Toronto on Wychwood Ave., and spent many happy moments with her friends and family in Ajax, Ontario after marrying the love of her life, Dick.
They raised their children in their house on Wishbone Crescent, marking each celebration with Gladys taking photographs.
Seven grandchildren, Natalie, Evan, River, Carly, Brandon, Noah, and Colby arrived over the years, each one making her happier to be called, Grandma. Recently designated Great-Grandma by the arrival of little Osbourne on October 24. She will be dearly missed by each one who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her joyous peals of laughter, her wonderful sense of fun, and love will live on in our hearts and minds forever.

Grant Farrier
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of long-time Stouffville resident Grant Farrier.
He passed away peacefully at Douglas Crossing Retirement Home in Uxbridge on October 26, 2021 at age 86.
Grant is survived by Joyce, his devoted wife of 65 years and by his children Chrystal Paisley, Linda Farrier, Rose Lloyd (Brian), and David Farrier (Alison).
He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Marcus (Colette), Michelle (George), Sara (Scott), Laura (Alex), Eric (Erin), Allison (Keith), Alanna (Cameron), and by his 12 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his sister Fern Rusnell.
